Seeing that Ceres is considered to be a planet,I feel that checking Ceres
in synastry would be very interesting. I always felt that Ceres was way underrated in Astrology any way. I will be glad that Ceres get its due. I really feel that Ceres
aspects have been overlooked by many
astrologers who disregard asteroids including Ceres. I feel that in synastry, Ceres can
be about the Ceres person being nurturing, caring, looking after,protecting,helping,cooking/eating
with the partner. In negative synastry aspects, I feel that Ceres can indicate problems with possessiveness, smothering, nagging, worrying
over,"being too much of a mom",problems agreeing how to raise children, problems with cooking/eating food(especially if one or both
suck at cooking)

My Ceres in Leo is in her 6th house, and her Ceres in Aquarius is in my
5th/close to my 6th house cusp

My Ceres aspects with my gal include only looking at just the major planets,Ascendant,Midheaven,Nodes, major aspects, declinations, and nothing else)

Her Ceres trine my Midheaven - '47
Her Ceres conjunct my North Node - 1'32
Her Ceres sextile my Jupiter - 3'44
Our Cereses oppose each other - 1'56
Our Cereses contraparallel each other - '19
My Ceres trine her Sun - 4'43
My Ceres trine her Mercury - '30
My Ceres trine her Jupiter - 3'02
My Ceres square her Venus - '34

My Mercury in Scorpio square Ceres in Leo and her Venus in Taurus square Ceres in Aquarius form a Grand Cross.

My Ceres in Leo sextile Uranus in Libra and her Mercury in Aries
sextile Ceres in Aquarius form a Mystical Rectangle

(My Ceres in Leo trine Jupiter in Sagittarius and her Mercury in Aries
sextile Ceres in Aquarius form a Kite
My Ceres in Leo trine Jupiter in Sagittarius and her Mercury in Aries
sextile Ceres in Aquarius form a Kite) - Double Kite

(My Ceres in Leo and her Sun in Aries,Ceres in Aquarius,Stationary
Jupiter in Sagittarius form a Kite
My Ceres in Leo and her Mercury in Aries,Ceres in Aquarius,Stationary
Jupiter in Sagittarius form a Kite) - Double Kite

My Uranus in Libra and her Mercury in Aries,Ceres in Aquarius,Stationary Jupiter in Sagittarius form an Isosceles Trapezoid

Nice Composition Ray, i'll be glad when an astrologer comes up with accurate descriptive ceres - synastry - and natal house interpretations.

I had Asteroid Goddess report program. It lists sign placements, house placements, and aspects of the asteroids, Ceres,Pallas,Vesta, and Juno.
I thought it was very accurate.

Check out the book, Asteroid Goddesses by Demetra George and Douglas Bloch.

also they wrote Astrology For Yourself, and it has a lot of good information about the asteroid goddesses as well as other asteroids. I got the book in 1999 which was the year after I first believed in Astrology. That's what got me into believing in the significance of asteroids and their use in Astrology. I recommend that book to anybody who wants thoroughly understand the astrological basics and learn additional stuff. It's like a self awareness type workbook too.

This is from page 228 from Astrology For Yourself

Ceres relates to Cancer,Virgo,and Taurus-Scorpio

Keyphrase: My capacity to unconditionally love and nurture myself and others.

Ceres themes

1. Cancer: giving and receiving nurturing; all kinds of family relationships --parents and children;providing and caring for others; self acceptance and self-worth.

2. Taurus-Scorpio: attachment and letting go, loss and return, capacity for grief and sorrow, rejection, abandonment, separation, principle of sharing, death, and renewal cycles.

3. Virgo: productivity, growth, self reliance, work

Ceres rulerships

1. Procreation: procreative sexuality, childbirth, abortion, menarche and menopause, death and dying, children, all kinds of parenting relationships.

2. Nourishment: nurturing and helping vocations;nursing,social service,food and hunger,nutrition,food-related services,food-related illnesses,agriculture and growing;cultivation of land and plants,harvest

3. Productivity: labor,work,ecology, domestication,animals,adaptation,and survival

Ceres Keywords

nurturing,mothering,growing,caring for,sustaining,fertile,productive,nourishing,
powerful,concerned,civilizing,domesticating,
providing,feeding,nature,insecure,controlling,
overprotecting,smothering,self-rejecting,
rejecting self,rejecting others self-hating,
critical,judgmental,fearful,self-hate,dependent,
destructive,clinging,ferocious,tenacious,
grasping,hungry,barren,deprived,neglected,
abandoned.

Astrologers had interpretations for Ceres for years. It's just many astrologers ignored them because Ceres was only an asteroid and so was meaningless. That's how a lot of astrologers think. I feel the same type of mentality that many astronomers and other scientists have.

Sometimes I feel that Saturn also rules Astrology and not Uranus. A lot of astrologers can be so rigid and don't want to change the system.
