Well, Vesta is not really all that hausfrauenlike. It is often mistaken for it as she is tending the hearth. But actually her priestesses were "virginal", which means that they were not sharing the duties of married women, did not have to (nor were allowed to) marry, have kids and be a housewife.however, in early times they were not virginal in the sense of celibate. They were just not housewify. lol Anyway, I think this could mean that his romantic motor gets running, because of your dedication and focus. It might also be quite a spiritual kind of love, as Vesta is spiritual, has some kind of purity (meaning: focus/ purposedness) and devotion. I liked what Dawn Bodrogi wrote about her:
"Vesta is not so much the goddess in charge of the hearth as she is the fire itself. That central, sacred flame of life, self-perpetuating, never ending. Vesta is where our true passion lies, the place where we come to when we must choose life over death-in-life. And she is everything we do, every step we take, to keep that flame alive. She is our courage, and she is our sacrifice–the willing and joyful surrender that allows us to keep what we cherish. The things that make an individual life, dedicated to an individual purpose, worthwhile." http://theinnerwheel.com/2011/05/12/driven-towards-the-sacred-vesta-part-one/ IP: Logged |

This is big, big! Vesta holds what it touches with selfish devotions. Valentine is love where you would die for someone. How beautiful! ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ceri - Thank you for the information on Vesta. The spiritualitization of his live for me does make a great deal of sense, as does his becoming roused by my (intellectual) passions.Ami - Aw, that is sweet, and also makes sense. I can say, without a doubt in my mind, that he would do anything in his power for me - and would try those thigs outside of his power, so it makes sense as well. ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device.
