rofl! i have asteroid amor conjunct my natal descendant too so her name asteroid conjuncts that. further more she will conjunct my venus with cupido asteroid conjunct it. she is a metal ox i think. not sure about the element but if ur not a metal pig then she is a metal. those go by twos. i had plans for her of the lowest kind.  i wonder if this is truly me now. i remember being vanilla when i joined this forum. or lurked. idk. it's been a coupla years. must be the jupiter expanding what is possible in the 8th. my mind is just very scorpio mars right now. i think it shocked the aries' system. her progressed sun? well those are all in aries so some might be in taurus by now. mothballs wanna join? ahahahaa! i'm a wood ox, as far as i know.and my progressed sun is around 28. in range of your merc, i think. jupiter is expanding what to who now? i have no idea about that last bit u wrote, flossington. are you talking about tying me up?

Excuse me, could someone explain to me what is "name asteroid",and how to have its placement in a chart ? And its meaning ?I've looked for it in Astrodienst but haven't found.

Your own name or someone else's name, or the asteroid that sounds closest to it. Not all names will have a match, but if you were called Michael, there would be several different Michaels with their surnames all listed, too. I think the French version would be Michel and that asteroid would exist though from what I recall, so again, in some cases it gets difficult to know which name asteroid to pick out of all the options. People generally check their own name against the name asteroids of their family members, loved ones or friends if nothing else. If someone's called John, there's asteroid Johnny, for example, and ones for Elizabeth and many others, so it all depends on what your name is. Check the Asteroid names for your name at Astrodient under the extra horoscopes (almost right at the bottom of the page), as there is an alphabetic list that opens from there. IP: Logged |

I don't understand the meaning, but the result is really surprising
On MY chart, the asteroid which wears the name of a "certain someone", conjuncts my natal NN.
And in HIS chart; the asteroid which wears my name conjuncts his natal NN
?!
It is probably a coincidence because it is a bit " too much",and because so many people wear the same names as we do.But it is funny and this have given me nice goose bumps (is it the right term in english ?)

Glad I could help and that you found such a "double whammy" with the names, too. Your English is better than my highly rusty French and goose bumps works fine. I'm not a native English speaker either though. If you're called Eve, maybe you could also check asteroid Adams for that "Adam and Eve" thing as well? I have my Eva at 3 Gemini, 1 degree from my Mars, and my Adams 2 degrees from my Venus so I happen to remember those quite well. Maybe your love interest will aspect your Eva or Adams with theirs, too. IP: Logged |

Everybody calls me Eve from my early age, but in fact I'm Evelyne. After reading your post when I finally understood what was a "name asteroid" (as you kindly explained to me) , I really thought I have NO chance to find an Evelyne asteroid as you said , so I chose Eve, but in fact there IS an asteroid called Evelyn !! so I used Evelyn, of course ! I'm lucky ! It is funny to find my name like this
But for Adam and Eve, I will test too !!It's very romantic of course, and I afraid I am too.Yes, this double whammy on nodes is odd. I have done our composite too, and it's odd too. Evelyne composite , and xxxxx composite, are opposite each other, in pisces 6°5, virgo 7°5 . In fact it is exactly the place corresponding to my natal MC/IC axis 6°5, and also corresponding to his vertex/antivertex axis 6°5, since in synastry his vertex/antivertex axis conjunct my MC/IC axis exact.
It is very tempting to say it's WONDERFUL ! Unfortunately I know this relationship is impossible.
Perhaps it was in a past life ? or will be in the next life ? I want to hope !
In 8th harmonic compared to 8th harmonic, our two nodes axis are conjunct exact, but upside down ! his NN conjunct my NS, and his NS conjunct my NN.
yes it seems very fated and not to occur in this present life.

It gets funnier still when my Venus is at 6'58 Virgo, too, so it's the person answering your question hitting that as well.  I very rarely look into harmonics, so I need to remind myself how I'd even get a 60th harmonic from anywhere. I never heard of anyone using anything that "big", 13th seeming about the furthest I remember people talking about here. That's interesting though, thank you for bringing that up. IP: Logged |

I don't understand every word, but WAOW. Are you a magician ? have you got mysterious powers ? HOW can you know I have my Venus in virgo conjunct my IC in natal? How can you know that in synastry my "unreachable beloved guy" 's vertex hits both my IC and Venus ?

No, I just meant _I_ have my Venus there, too. I didn't know you have your Venus there until now when you told me. "Coincidences" like that are just how astrology seems to work. People attract others with matching aspects. Sometimes it works in funny ways like this, my having a matching aspect to someone whose question I answer, AND your chart being about that one spot as well. I'm not Merlin, but my asteroid Merlin is at 26 Capricorn. My 503 Evelyn is 29 Virgo. IP: Logged |
