^ there's no reason to use Hera here.Hera has her own asteroid, distinct from Juno.
Hera = #103
Juno = #3
While Juno is based off of the Greek Queen of Olympos, they are their own entities, and do not share all the same characteristics or legends. Confusing the two will definitely impact analysis.
see...
Pallas, Athene, and Minerva - same deal... you don't want to confuse the three, Pallas was adopted as Athene's epithet after being slain by her, Pallas therefore has her own legend, Athene was a very regional and late addition to the Greek pantheon herself, her identity is split from other earlier goddesses and a foreign goddess, while Minerva functions stronger in certain areas, she does not share all the same offices as the previous Greek goddess whose role she filled in for. In fact most of the Roman goddesses saw their offices shrink, but on the up side, many of their negative personality traits were curbed or completely loss during transition/translation, and surely to their benefit, their often conflicting Greek roots that made many of them sound as though they had been suffering from a personality disorder, were fixed/omitted by the Romans... The Roman deities are slightly less colourful and the female deities (though there are still plenty to go around), did lose even more of their prestige in this Roman society, should observed as their own idols by the mythophiles and astrophiles alike, because they were their own by the people who created them, and they each have something unique to offer the student. ^^
I admire dedication to preserving namesakes, but ignoring the individual attributes and legends given to another, not just the deity but the asteroid, does dampen the accuracy and respect to both astronomy/astrology, and mythology fields.
---- sorry for derailing a bit~ ^^;
