I've only started learning about astroids ..and from my understanding about chiron and its placement in my chart I'm a little concerned and confused.

For example; I do find I have difficultly expressing myself (unless its through writing). I did have unfortunate sexual experiences at a young age. And I find my sexuality hard to understand and communicate (not to be confused with sexual identity). I am attracted to mysticism and the occult but have had very little experiences with death.

What I hear about chiron is that it represents personal wounds that don't heal, but have the ability to heal others.

So does this mean ill always struggle with communication and sex?

How does it give you the power to heal others? And it what way? Do certain aspects have to be made to make an impact on others?

Thank you for any clarification on this! Maybe once I have a better understanding I can dig deeper into other astroids

i have this aspect also. i can relate to what bob marks wrote on it:

Chiron in the 8th house: What a great sex therapist you can be. A more likely scenario is that you have the ability to bring out the sexual best in a romantic partner, while giving yourself the short end of the stick (no pun intended). But the 8th house rules more than sex. You could also get stuck with taking care of partnership resources because "you're so good at it," or, conversely, keep getting partners who want to "take care" of it and do you out of your fair share. Perhaps you become too dependent on money from others for support, or too much of what you earn goes to support others. You might tend to accept other people's values (your family, group or society) too readily. One other thing. The myth of Chiron can actually come alive with this placement. You could have a talent for healing or rehabilitating others, but not yourself.

Chiron in Gemini: Gemini is communications. Those with Chiron here may talk compulsively, or, on the other hand, seldom speak. Both were, most likely, never listened to as children. The only difference is one keeps trying while the other gave up. This sounds something like Chiron in the third house, and, of course, there are similarities. Remember though, that the sign position shows how something acts while the house position shows where in your life it will manifest. Let's take a look at an example. Suppose you have two horoscopes in front of you. One has Chiron in Taurus in the 3rd house. The other has Chiron in Gemini in the 2nd house. Yes, there are similarities. You could say that both will spend a lot of time talking about money, possessions, and values. Both could be quite good at giving financial advice. What's the difference? The one with the Taurus Chiron in the 3rd house will tend to talk in a slower, methodical, and more practical way because that's how Taurus influences function. They would also tend to give financial advice that is conservative and rock solid. The person with Chiron in Gemini in the 2nd house, by contrast, could just as easily talk about trivial financial matters. Or they may constantly shift from one financial topic to another. They would be more likely to give financial advice that is based on the latest up to date information (or the latest fad). It is always good to keep in mind the difference between where a planet works and how.

I have Chiron in the 8th too, except in Aries.

I always tend to end up handling money and resources in partnerships/relationships becuase I seem to always have the better sense with thos things. Or I coming to the rescue with someone else's "crisis", whether it's balancing thier check book or dealing with car repairs.

I do seem to be a healing presence, but my own wounds go unhealed. I've noticed I'm very attracted to people whose natal placements make contact to my Chiron. I think it's my need for healing that draws me to them.

I have Sun quintile Chiron too and this is supose to amp up my healing talents. But i prefer to expend those talents on animals. Humans are selfish and ungrateful...and prone to be utterly, mindlessly vicious to a helping hand. But with animals, I'm very good.

As for sex, yep. I never had a guy who didn't want me back after I dumped him, but it was always for the sex. Great for him--pretty unspectacular for me. Always blamed that on my Vens-Saturn conjucntion but I guess Chiron in 8th would make more sense. But I'm kind of glad that I can't date anyone right now becuase of life circumstance, because I so totally dread another unfilfulling sexual relationship. In fact, I just don't think I could do it. My last one was--ugh, I want to punch the wall just thinking what a lazy lover he was and how indifferent he was to hw it made me feel like our relationship was very one-way.

to clarify, i've been sexual therapist to my last two partners and that's approx 7 years cumulative. it's as exactly as horrible as it sounds lol. unfortunately for me, if i see them, i can't ignore these issues, even if they would like to, they have to be dredged up and confronted. yayyy

chiron is aspecting everything for me except uranus and is sextile moon strongest by 0 deg

I also has 8th house chiron / taurus
Hmmm... taurus is opposite sign of scorpio.

Things I can relate with this 8th chiron are..
-I take care of my boyfriend money and his properties . I didn't mean too but the situation make us .

-As a saturn conjunct AC natally ,I can't (absolutely) not a sex therapist

- I find secure on valuable subject but I don't attached to that as much.

Interesting. I have a client right now to whom I am trying to explain this. It is a repression of your deepest passions and emotions such that it is very painful for you to access them.

8th house Chiron is quite powerful in my experience. I have mine in Aries which opposes my Libra Sun-Uranus conjunction in 2H. I recently read an article by Nadia Gilchrist on Sasstrology.com about the 2nd & 8th house in relation to intimacy & sex. Along with Ami Anne, she is one of my favorite astrologers. The article is very illuminating. I have Pluto hanging out in the 2nd along with Sun-Uranus conjunction. In my past I have had bad stuff happen & have cut myself off from intimacy. I am less trusting, but I am learning to find a balance between the delicious act itself & the true transformative power of intimacy.

I have Chiron in 8H AND Scorpio -yay for me!- and yes, it's quite powerful. As for the aspects, I have Chiron trine 5H Cancer Moon, Chiron semisquare 10H Sagittarius Mercury, Chiron square 12H Aquarius Jupiter, Chiron quincunx 2H Aries Saturn (R), Chiron trine 7H Virgo NN & Vertex & P Fort (all 3 same sign & house), Chiron semi-square 7H Libra BML and Chiron conjunction 8H Scorpio Sirene & Hekate & Sisyphus.

What do you think?

I also have Chiron in Gemini in the 8th and my Moon is in Gemini in the 8th house as well. I have found that I'm more comfortable than most dealing with 8th house matters, and I've always seemed to attract very powerful (wealthy) people into my life without any try on my part. My first job in high-school was working as a buyer for a very eccentric antiques dealer whose late husband had left her many, many millions (sound eighthy?). She later became a dear friend and has been very generous to me. My ex-husband is heir to a very large inheritance that's been passed down for several generations(total 8th house). My current relationship is with a very wealthy man who made his $ through banking,(tax) law and guess what, INHERITANCE. Seems this placement attracts 8th house types into my life that require some healing. I've played therapist to all of them. Chiron is the "wounded healer" after all. There seems to be much more to Chiron than just being the sore spot of your chart!
