Topic: Asteroid Poor in the Natal Chart

It's pretty obvious that asteroid Poor signifies poverty. The House it's in shows where in life we are poor but I'm not sure what the sign could mean.I have Poor in my 1H/Pisces. I disagree with the Pisces part, but I have to admit the 1H placement of Poor in my chart is fairly accurate  Where do you have Poor? Do you think its placement in your chart is accurate? Also, Poor opposes my 7H Virgo NN & Vertex & P Fort, trines my 8H Scorpio Chiron & Hekate & Psyche & Sisyphus and squares my 4H Gemini Hygiea and my 10H Sagittarius Moira. IP: Logged |

It conjuncts my Chiron by two degrees, and forms an exact hard aspect to my Jupiter. That actually doesn't surprise me; I knew I'd never be rich anyway.IP: Logged |

So perhaps being poor causes an emotional wound? That hard aspect with Jupiter would certainly indicate poverty, but perhaps there are other aspects in the chart to contradict this. IP: Logged |

I know this topic waaaay old to discuss but I would like to bump as a fresh graduate looking for job. I got it at 10th conjunct my moon 8 degrees away from my MC angle. Needless to say, finding a job is difficult for me.

Hey Ami, Poor - 118230I have this in my 11th and I can say that I definitely have few friends. It's in Gemini though and I'm trying to figure it out. The friends I do have, I communicate with on a regular basis and we have great conversation. Maybe they're all two-faced and I don't know it, lol!  I also don't feel I lack personally in any Mercurial type of way. So, like the OP said, I resonate with the house, but not the sign. IP: Logged |

I have Poor in 5th house. Hm. Is this the "everything is serious business" position? That's all I can think of. If I had to place it somewhere, 6th house would be more accurate, but Placidus insists that I have it in 5th. quote:

Poor in Sagittarius in 4th or 5th house. Rather in 4th. I feel like I come from a poor family, or I don't consider myself coming from a rich family... at my birth my parents were maybe "poor" or something like that (not that poor, but quite). Maybe my "poor asteroid" is in 4th conjunct cuspid of 5th. maybe it means that because of my "poor" origins, I would like to find a man as "poor" as me. or maybe because my "poor" is square Sun in my chart (maybe not : 3° orb), as Sun is the husband.
in Sagittarius in my chart I also know what it means.Yes I think it's accurate. But all asteroids are accurate in charts (we just need to relate to it with a good interpretation) except when the time or date of birth is uncorrect... IP: Logged |

I have Poor conjunct Venus in Taurus 8th house. Not sure what to make of the house and sign placement... I'm maybe not rich, but definitely far from poor, and most of the money I have comes from inheritance, which is an 8th house matter. In matters relating to Venus I'm both rich and poor. I'm lacking in feminine gender identity, romance and sexuality (feels less like a deficit and more like being free though), but I'm certainly rich when it comes to artistry, harmony, sensuality, creativity... So, yeah... don't know what to make of Poor. IP: Logged |

Thank you for adding the number. I have it 5th too. Which fertility was an issue. Never becamea mother to a non fur baby. If other's find it in 5th, with the same results we might have the 5th house meaning,

I have this placement as well.. I’d say I’m poor, for now, and no inheritance for me, but I also have Saturn in the 8th and Chiron in the 2nd. Maybe our romantic affairs are not of high class or with high class folk? Or that our partner’s resources are poor?
