What does it represent in synastry with Chiron/mars/ or asteroid cassanova? also what about Hades transiting your own natal? or planets transiting your Hades in your natal?

1. It`s a hypothetical planet, not an observable object nor a calculated point.
(uranian astrology works with the hypothetical planets)

2. it "moves" so slow, it is even more generational than Pluto (I put the word `move`into quotation marks, as since it has never been observed, his speed and location in the sky is totally hypothetical as well)

3. for those who work with hypothetical planets,

"HADES (HAY deez)
All that is unpleasant, useless, antique, or deeply buried. The occult ... Hades is misunderstood, because many think only of the negative meanings: dirt, garbage, sewage, sickness, poverty, mistakes, and all things ugly and sinister. There is a positive side that deals with antiquity, depth, and past lives. Hades advances 1°01' per year, so its orbit around the Sun takes a little over 360 years. "

The proposed orb in Uranian astrology seems to be one degree or even less. And using hard aspects, including semi- and sesisquare.

EDIT:
they may have value, or they may have not. Everyone needs to come to their own decision about it, but I find it important to know the background of the hypothetical points.

I am not as opposed to them as I was years ago, though I still find the way they have been "invented" quite questionable, and depending on a LOT of premises, that I do not necessarily believe must be true.

" The idea was that these planets could be positioned by looking at
> solar arc directions on a person's natal chart and comparing the
> directions to events in that person's life. The upshot was that in
> looking at these solar arcs, certain forces turned up missing. For
> example , when a person got married at age 22, there should be a
> planet about 22 degrees from the midheaven, or 22 degrees from the
> moon. This planet always turned up missing, and yet when this
> missing point was compared in horoscope charts of persons about the
> same age, it was in the same spot in the zodiac.
>
> Alfred Witte, the founder of Uranian Astrology, (which he called
> "The Hamburg Method") used this technique, in fact he invented this
> technique, to discover the planet Cupido, the planet of Marriage."

The questionable premise for me is that it is assumed that there HAD to be a conjunction through solar arcs to angles or luminaries at a certain event and age (actually there are TWO premises in this one: the one that Solar Arcs are the non-plus-ultra and only working predictive tool, excluding anything else; and that there had to be a conjunction in solar arcs).
while the premise might be true, it is still up to research and investigation, but in this system it becomes a factual reality, that ground the deriving of the hypothteticals is based on. If the premise does not turn out to be true, the whole building will collapse.

However, it is STILL intriguing to see that the "missing spots" apparently turned up CONSISTENTLY in very DIFFERENT charts.

This is what makes me soften my original stance on them a little.

Besides Anne Ortelee uses them, and her column is some of the best in terms of prediction I have ever read. so I am inclined to give the benefit of doubt, and research that within the tight parameters (one degree orb and hard aspects) and see if they deliver the results.

sorry for the long edit, I was just thinking out aloud.

Assuming they are what they are, I am not sure I would want Hades near a mars/Chiron conjunction. It sounds quite painful.

EDIT:
LOL

Interestingly Tr Sun and Tr PALLAS have just transited my natal HADES (one degree orb). I guess a good day for HADES to be illuminated and brought to awareness to me. hmm.

also as I see Tr KRONOS is conjunct my natal VULKANOS by 5 degrees of orb in my 7th house, and both opposite natal Venus (under one degree orb).

my natal KRONOS sits on my SN by 2 minutes of arc! in 7th house.

natal APOLLON sits on my MC within one degree of orb

interesting.

I love the replies! great info and I just asked this question because I noticed Hades 1 cancer and I have a crap ton of planets in cancer 12 - 27 Whew! so I guess I am good because it "moves" so slow!

On another note... anyone have any takes on what mars/cassanova/chiron conjunction in the 5th house would be like?

My Hades scares me because it sits in the 8th house on the fixed star Algor Taurus@25!
Hades is inconjunct 1st house Hekate Libra@24, Apophis Libra@24....these oppose 7th house Chiron Aries@24, Asmodus is Aries@24....dont really know what that means, but im not sure i want to know!
The person i loved the most in my life had his Venus sitting on my Hades exact!

Oh and my Hades is 2-3 degrees on my S. Node!

You can throw out any aspect, that is greater than one degree.

Having Hades on anti-vertex would be very significant! Anti-vertex is the ascendant for the soul. The same way whatever sits on your ascendant can be seen by everyone physically....whatever sits on your anti-vertex can be seen as something that is deeply part of your soul.
Now how exactly that plays out with Hades...would be personal also!
Hades is he god of the underworld, he brouht death...but he also had a very active personality, maybe you have traits like his? Lol!
Hades deals with the ugly, sinister things...but its also had a lot of depth and meaning! Usually out of death comes rejuvination and causes others to stop and reevaluate life! Everytime I've ever lost someone, it makes me stop n think and appreciate how precious life is!
Or maybe its more literal for you...
Does death move you, your deepest desire is to stop death? Im sure its not to cause death, maybe your a pioneer in engineering breakthrough ways of outliving life expectancy?? Lol....im playing....but somehow Hades and what it represents to your soul is going to be very obviously meaningful to you! Hades could be religious to you and maybe have a more symbolic meaning referring to Heaven and Hell....Shoel or Hades in the Bible is talking about the common grave. Are you studying to be an undertaker, own a mortuary, embalmer, coroner, forensic pathologist, maybe you like to write obituaries or work as a crime scene investigator?
Lol....this is totally hypothetical, but I think you get my point, something regarding Hades moves your soul!

Venus sits on my anti-vertex and I really do need to constantly feel im contributing to help others learn how embrace love and bring it into themselves! Its beyond a passion its part of my soul!

Resurrecting this thread.

I have Hades conjunct DSC by minutes. After researching, what resonates most for me is the drawing people to me who are digging through their depths. I have heavy Pluto themes in my chart as it is, and death and rebirth is definitely something I am familiar with. I think Hades conjunct DSC adds to this even more.

I read Hades is also prominent in the charts of healers, and I definitely feel called to heal and counsel people. People have always opened up to me, told me things that were very personal. I think Hades on DSC is bringing them in. As an aside, I have Apollo conjunct Venus and MC. Apollo is a healer as well. I believe my chart is telling me I am healing through love (Venus), and it is to be part of my path in life (MC).

So, long story short, I think Hades can be very positive too. But you have to work through your own personal garbage to be able to use it for the benefits it can offer.

Essentially, yes. This is a big part of the process. HADES is misunderstood when taken only for what negative features it contains.
