On 17th June, 6-6:15 AM, a Cloud Burst in the Himalayas [State of Uttarakhand in North India] led to sudden flash floods that are estimated to have killed thousands of pilgrims and tourists. A lot of damage is due to corrupt builders throwing all ecological rules to the wind and constructing on River Banks but the places affected are the Holiest of Holy places for Hindus, akin to their Mecca or Vatican.

Some years ago I posed a hypothesis:
Whenever tragedy strikes and there are planets in Cancer, death count increases because Cancer rules the Masses.

Venus and Mercury were in Cancer.

There were huge Galactic "Gravitational" Forces as Sun conjunct Jupiter and opposed the Galactic Center.

Uranus squared Asteroid FLOOD exact, which was charged by Pluto in Capricorn.

And Asteroid STORM, Ascendant of the Floods, Moon and LUCIFER in 29 Pisces formed a perfect Grand Cross.

Shiva temples and Rudra temples were devastated. SIVA was opposed by Neptune and RUDRA was quincunx North Node.

The initial deaths were accidental, and this was mirrored by IXION conjunct PHOLUS in the skies.

Hope and pray that such a tragedy never occurs again.

Plenty of funds have been allotted, prayers are the real need. I think more than 10,000 have perished. The government could be hiding the full scale of the tragedy to prevent panic during the rescue ops.
Such flooding has never occurred in India's documented history in the Himalayas. We are talking of over a 1000 years since the temples were built in these areas.

I feel sickened just reading about this.... may their souls find peace, and may this tragedy never be repeated.

I wonder what else the chart can tell us... I've got a backlog building up it seems.

I feel something is telling me something... to quote what's coming to mind: "When tragedies occur in sacred places such as this, it echoes and reverberates throughout the earthly sphere."

Floodgates opened, perhaps. The other coming of mind: "Watch world events for the next 30 days. Tragedy is not done yet. But elsewhere." I ask myself, "where?". I merely get the vibe: "Watch worldwide."

For the record I'm not getting the mental image of any Hindu deity or avatar.

Maybe writing this will be enough to raise awareness and avert what is further to come. That's my hope.

Yes, for the last days I had the very clear feeling that the gates were not just opened a bit, but WIDELY open.

I thought thought, that it was just my personal perception, but there`s alot going on worldwide.

Just thought of something... Mercury's in the shadow zone of Retrograde right now in Cancer, and will station direct when it turns forward again directly on Sirius. I've already had a couple mechanical problems related to moisture (blender leaking and one side of earbud headphones now at half capacity after I attempted to clean the screen with rubbing alcohol/q-tips as a couple of examples)...

There aren't any dams or major bridges over rivers in immediate danger of collapse I hope.

Checked the chart for that flood...

If using 6AM as the starting time, we had Atlantis Rising (Ascendant directly conjunct). Also there's:
- Destinn conjunct Algol (both Taurus)
- Graves (Virgo) trine Flood (Capricorn)
- Flood (Cap.) square Uranus/Requiem (Aries)
- Poseidon/Damocles (Aquarius) square Destinn/Algol
- Dejanira conjunct Hekate (Leo)
- Pallas/Aldeberan conjunct Mars (Gemini), in T-square... squaring Graves (Virgo) and also Chiron (Pisces)
- Slightly weaker Yod with Apophis (Leo) sextile Mars, both quincunx Flood.
- Leviathan (Leo) trine Ixion/Pholus (Sagittarius, both retrograde)
- Moon (final degree of Virgo) squaring Black Moon Lilith (first degree of Cancer)

Definitely a rough chart all-around...

God was kind to the Western Canadians, very few lost their lives. But the fact is that two near diametrically opposite parts of Earth have suffered record Floods simultaneously when Asteroid FLOOD is shown as afflicted by Uranus. Of course, the overall chart is grim as shown by Seraph but we now have confirmation to look for affliction to STORM and FLOOD as a better chance of assessing disaster risks. Earlier we saw patterns in VULCANO for volcanoes and POSEIDON for Earthquakes.

Hello IQ,

Don't forget the Super Moon was growing full at the Aries Point (A reminder that the Aries Point is 0 degrees Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn). The Aries Point includes the areas 2 degrees before and after the zero degree.

The Super Moon played a huge roll in the flooding of the U.S. city New Orleans in Louisiana at the tail end of 2005. Although there hasn't been a great loss of life in Canada, it is the same scenario in terms of an entire city being flooded and evacuation numbers are unprecedented.

The way the flooding in India is being reported here in the U.S. is that the Ganges River is flooding, they haven't pinpointed it to the Himalayas. And yes, the loss of life your country is experiencing is very sad and shocking.

Thank you for pinpointing the astrological significators of these two floods. I wish you and yours well and hope you remain safe.
