Aspects are strong depending on their orb value. Squares, Oppositions and Conjunctions are all harsh aspects therefore they hold more influence than Trines and Sextiles which are harmonious aspects.

Squares add tension, some people like squares because at times these aspects can be bring passionate depending on the planets or asteroids in question. Adonis the asteroid, just as a Aphrodite counterpart signify "beauty" but a masculine beauty. The effects of Adonis in synastry is one of sexual magnetism, the desire to entice or arouse another person. Basically you may feel more obliged to fulfill the needs of a person because you want to win their favor in order to arouse some sexual energy within them.

That depends on other factors,the reception isn't always receptive on one side over the other.

Adonis will be worshipped by the other person when it touches in good aspect like conjunction, trine etc

With a square, it may be the opposite. I am not sure. I would love to hear other opinions on this.
