Topic: Dear IQ: Have you ever seen strong Cupido aspects in soulmates' charts?

Well.....It's often heard that Cupido is a shallow or even false love asteroid, and although Cupid is the Roman name of Eros, Asteroid Cupido seems much less important than Eros in terms of relationship astrology.
But on the other hand, according to my own research, I'm quite sure that Cupido-Psyche is a valid soulmate link in synastry.I doubt if it is appropriate to define it as an asteroid that represents faked or not sincere love. This asteroid really puzzles me a lot, especially when I recently met someone whom I think probably my Mr. Right, and our synastry is highlighted by strong Cupido aspects along with Psyche and Mars as follows: My Cupido oppose & contraparalell his Solstice Psyche (0)
My Cupido/Psyche mp conj his Psyche(0)
His Cupido/Psyche mp conj & parallel my Mars(0)
My Psyche/Mars mp conj his Cupido(0)
His Psyche/Mars mp conj my Cupido(0)
My Cupido conj his Pluto(0)
His Cupido conj my Venus(1) Although we have some other significant aspects, the Cupido aspects seems the strongest. And we have the following aspects in Composite:
Sun conj Cupido(0) conj Solstice Eros(0) conj Psyche/Mars mp (0) In Draconic charts we have:
His dr Venus/Mars mp conj my dr Psyche(0)
His dr Amor oppose my dr Psyche(0)
My dr Amor conj his tr Psyche(1) My questions are:
1.How often have you seen Cupido-Psyche link in soulmates' charts?
2.Is Cupido, as a love asteroid, only effective when it is aspecting Psyche?
3.Is Cupido/Psyche midpoint comparable to Eros/Psyche midpoint?
4.Have you ever seen strong Cupido contacts in soulmates' charts? Please shed some light on this asteroid in terms of synastry or composite, if you would.

1) Diego Rivera - Frida Kahloher Psyche opposite his Cupido (1 2) Johnny Cash - June Carter none but his Cupido is precisely parallel her Psyche on 14.59 S
3) Laurence Olivier - Vivien Leigh
his Psyche quinkunx her cupido (1)
4) Paul and Linda Mc Cartney
his Psyche conjunct her Cupido exact
5) Humphrey Bogart - Lauren Bacall
his Psyche opposite and cp her Cupido (3)
her Psyche widely conjunct and p his Cupido (4) Most of those I looked up didn`t have a Cupido-Psyche-aspect though.
Personally I think that Eros might be stronger as he was considered a primordial God present at the creation of the world as per Hesiod.
And in later times, when the Romans took in the Greek Pantheon, they "downgraded" Eros to be a son of Venus, and even more so split him up into two different Gods:
Amor and Cupido, with Amor being more aobut the loving compassionate side of love and Cupio more about the flirtative, desirious side of love.

It seemd to me that Cupido played a greater role in soulmate relationships or relationships, where there was a strong romantic/ erotic vibe between the participants, while it didn`t occur with the pairs more related to spiritual bonding.IP: Logged |

cupido fakes love, there is no heart in it ...playboy/player ....you dont want none of that, they're slapping it on, its obvious how fake it is ...its like he'd take a book and read straight from it, theyd say anything cause its lies, like reading offa teleprompterIP: Logged |
