Uh...badly?

My husband's Chiron is conjunct my sun-moon MP in Aquarius, opposite his sun-Uranus, but I forget the orb. It's the handle on his bucket chart.

Everything's complicated in astrology but when I think of this aspect between us, it brings to mind all the ways he and I wound each other and how our capacity for healing ourselves and others is affected by this intense relationship between us.

And frankly I just don't delight in having someone's Chiron there...why would I? I have my own Chiron, but I feel like this aspect forces me to deal with an extra Chiron in a big way.

The conjunction is in my 7H and possibly his 7H as well, I'd have to check, though. 'Will do that when I get more time.

For now, here's something I found in a quick look about the internet:

quote:
Like any planet or asteroid in the chart, Chiron has his good and bad side, and Chiron contacts indicate that a great deal of healing can be achieved. Unfortunately, the process involves hitting all the most sensitive, painful buttons whilst trying not to lose love for one another. Chiron can be a real test of the depth of feeling between two people, because the hurt, usually, is inadvertent. I’m not so much targeting you in a Plutonian way as I am constantly, accidentally, shredding your heart, because I can’t help it. Chiron contacts can be remarkably long-lived as well, depending on how much we have associated pain with love.

What begins of as a promise of wholeness often ends with a ruthless tearing–real healing can occur only when whatever is festering inside can be cleansed. Only then can a wound be closed. Chiron-dominant relationships provide this soul-searing. Without this cleansing, we cannot have the kind of inner balance that translates to spiritual strength. I’ve often noticed with Chiron-dominant relationships that one partner is more conscious and aware than the other, and it is this more aware partner who suffers the most from the partnership. Chiron, the wise healer and teacher, is always pushing us towards the awareness of what is best in us, and guiding us away from what is holding us back. This is Chiron the maker of heroes, who allows us to see the god within.

Sorry if this sounds conceited but that is how I feel...like I'm suffering for being more aware.

Hi Faith =)

Thank you for your reply.
Sorry to hear that your experience with this aspect wasn't good.
Though I guess it all comes down to each individual's natal, how each person handles the energy of the aspect in question.

In your husband's case, I can see why it would cause difficulties between you; his Chiron is afflicted by being opposite his Sun/Uranus conjunction, which would cause his Chiron to act in hurtful ways, especially with it touching your most sensitive/personal point (Sun/Moon mp).
But of course, like all Chiron contacts, there is great potential to bring healing to one another and the potential to purge/cleanse yourselves of any blockages you may have.

In our case, I am the Chiron and he is the Sun/Moon mp. My Chiron doesn't do much but quincunxes my Desc.
It conjuncts his Sun/Moon mp and sextiles his Chiron, forming a yod.

My Chiron/His Sun-Moon MP: Virgo 14°
My Desc: Aquarius 12°41
His Chiron: Cancer 13°

His natal Chiron squares his Venus and trines his Pluto.

The last thing I would want to do would be to hurt him, I can't say how he experiences it on his end though.
But as for me being more aware of the energies between us at the moment, I do feel its effects in purging me, most definitely.
There's a lot I need to work through and let go of before coming together with him.

Oops

I felt bad when I realized you are the Chiron person! Maybe I shouldn't have put such a negative spin on it. Especially since I just remembered that my natal moon is tightly conjunct our composite Chiron-BML. Maybe that is the larger reason why this relationship feels SO Chironic to me.

Best wishes, hope you two find mutual healing through all of your connections
