Would you say sedna is a mix of saturn and neptune?I'm trying to decipher her astrological meaning for myself, not in terms of a single vague sentence but I want to understand her energy. "You're going to die lonely" is not helpful...
Most importantly I want to know how people with prominent Sedna feel about her. Please no random fatalistic interpretations, UNLESS you have prominent Sedna in YOUR chart!

Like you quoted, pushy parents. But from the same site's quotes from other sites, I found these suit me the most.

I'm not sure what you mean by prominent, but I'm sure conjunct the ASC is pretty prominent.------------------

If you havent read her story, please do! Its very sad and touching at the same time!
The story gives so much of deeper meaning to her than anything else, in my chart she is a 1 degree square from my saturn,...she is vey karmic for me and i see how her story is part of my deepest betrayal from the ones i loved so deeply! IP: Logged |

The story is very disturbing but the ending is beautiful being one with the sea etc..Sailorgem and gabby I think we've all experiences betrayal in some form.
Like saturn Sedna teaches you how to deal with betrayal?
I also feel she's otherworldly, do you have that vibe with sedna conjunct asc? Squaring saturn? yes sounds very karmic.
The "victim" with the taskmaster sounds pretty interesting.

I learned to stop blaming others, what happened as a child was a karmic lesson i walked into the world with...but to allow it to continue as adult....that was my choice!
Feeling the lesson as a child hurt but eventually i stopped crying that my dad chose to leave me the day i born, leaving me with a mom raised me in a cult that allowed people to hurt me in horrible ways and then they all turned their back on me when i decided to leave.
Eventually the lesson lead me to see it was my belief system that attracted pain to me. If I believed i deserved nothing better than to be treated poorly then thats all i would ever get and i needed to change that. I believe our thoughts create our reality and to change reality you must first learn to believe something different than what you initially believed you deserved. I love and appreciate this lesson!! Sedna was hurt so deeply when she was so vulnerable, she is in my heart...i cried when i read her story because i felt hurt like that, to the point i worried i wouldnt live past the pain....its such a deeply touching story to me!

Yes, I definitely get the sense Sedna is otherworldly. I'm wondering if it rubs on to me as well... but I'm sure everyone's felt like they're not from here at some point in their lives.
And I've always felt sorry for Sedna. Her and Persefoni. Both are just tragically beautiful.------------------

I see the otherworldly part, you just don't feel like you fit in anywhere and nobody cares about you like others seem to have people care about them!
She fits in nowhere, everyone wants to use her instead of love her and this world is all about love so why can't she be loved and get love like everyone else who is of this world?
One of the most basic concepts on our planet is family, they are supposed to protect, they love you more than all others...she doesn't have that but yet she's done nothing to deserve not receiving that love or having what everyone else has!IP: Logged |

Good points!!!^ That's exactly how I feel about Sedna too gabby.. I feel this describes Sedna people.

Sedna in the 9th trine ASC, trine Uranus exact, square Jupiter. If it's about not belonging then the house makes sense since I don't and won't follow any religion.------------------
