In Synastry (or any two person comparison).

When there is a strong aspect, I usually just look for conjunctions.
Does the Asteroid person experience the effects or does the Planet person feel more?

For exmaple... Eros. Is Eros attracted to the planet, or planet to Eros?
Or Juno I know is kind of,.... "Ideal wife". So is the it the planet (or point) person that sees the Juno person this way?

Maybe it just depends on the details.
