Here is how the Taurus aspect played out. For example, she recently bought us a dishwasher (without me even asking or prompting her to do so). She called up one day and said "I am at Best Buy, this is what I'm doing you cannot say no". After she bought it, she asked me to lie to the family and say she didn't do it, because apparently my father in law didn't realize she spent the money to do it. Very secretive, very manipulative (I do not lie, it really irks me). However, now that she's purchased this item for us, she is using this against us "well I bought you a dishwasher!!".

Additionally, I can't stand her. Actually she is one of the people in my life that I hate the most, and I don't hate people. I get a visceral reaction to her. I feel like she is my nemisis, she makes me absolutely insane. No surprise, her progressed Nemesis is conjunct my progressed MC EXACTLY (all in Cancer). I am a stay at home mom, and she is CONSTANTLY trying to interject herself into my home life, calling daily, asking to share my child, etc. Now Cancer/Taurus, that creates opportunity for a sextile, and in my case it happens to be an exact sextile. Her Moon/Nessus sextiles her Nemisis which conjuncts my MC. She's funneling that Emotional Abuse into a drive to undermine me.

I think the level of "heaviness" felt with these would be lighter with a progressed chart. Because I am aware of this, I do not take her very seriously, I see what she's doing and she doesn't realize that I do. However it's hard for me to set up boundaries with her snake self.

So perhaps in your case, the progressed Nessus conjunct mercury is abusive in their language, OR maybe they have a lot of thoughts surrounding "abuse" (which really can happen in many forms). If Mercury is retrograde, maybe this abuse is turned inward. I would also see what other planets this contacts and definitely take the house in consideration. Also always incorporate the natal chart, see what house your natal mercury lies in, or how this aspects your natal houses.

My son's progressed Moon sits at the exact midpoint between this sextile. At times I feel like I battle her for my child, which is weird.

It is super weird after all, but your insight helped me awaken to asteroids in this, and really to asteroids in general which I am now going to incorporate in all of my interpretations. I've been on a crazy obsessive study for the past three days - feeling like a mad scientist - (and have seen him in the meantime), flashes of insight over and over. Big time.

After studying many of our asteroid placements and both of our progressed charts (our progressed synastry makes this ALL make sense as to why it's sort of activating now) I'm beginning to understand it all. It's actually quite a story.

I actually thought about compiling all my research, with the charts, and posting to share. I thought about asking if you would look at it and see if I was missing something or help provide further insight? I want to write it all down anyway so that I wouldn't forget the whole story.
