The story of the "Holy Grail" includes....

Exacalibur(9499) Devine Quest

Amfortas(9509) Wounded so deeply, it not a mortal wound its a wound of the soul. Amfortas wound wouldnt heal....the weapon that wounded him also had the cure for his wound, but the weapon was stolen by Kundry, leaving him no way to heal.
Amfortas is the wound that cannot be forgotten, must be healed....healing it is finding the "Holy Grail" or Christ consciousness, the way to enlightenment and healing all wounds, raising your spiritual vibration above mortal existence.

Partisfal(2095) The innocent that refuses to allow Amfortas to suffer and his compassion led him on a divine quest to find the way to heal Amfortas.
Partisfal is liken to Jesus Christ who's compassion and love for mankind led him to selflessly give up his life and serve as an example and the way that humanity could find healing of this wound through God's love.

Kundy(553) she's more about the creation of the wound and what holds you back from healing.

Here is the story, if you aren't already familiar with it... http://www.tarot-decks.com/tempting-parzival.html

Jung spoke of this wound..."The Amfortas Wound"
He speaks of it as the wounding that creates a shift or split in the psyche...

Jung calls "The 'Amfortas' Wound"
Briefly put, the central argument reads like this. Each of us is split when, as we must, we develop one of our "functions" at the expense of the other three. We find ourselves divided into a civilized, socially adapted part and a barbaric part that holds the secret of our individual uniqueness. We suffer from this internal split as from an ever open, never healing wound -- like the one that tormented the Grail-King, Amfortas -- and we long for the uniting principle Jung calls "symbol" and "transcendent function."
Automatisme psychologique (1889). The "automatism" of the title refers to organized personality fragments which are capable of rather intelligent activity and function "automatically" during times the ego is hypnotically "put to sleep" or otherwise occupied. The hallmark of the psyche, for these investigators, being its ability to split, individuals with a special talent for dissociation were studied as paradigms.
Jung wrote his medical dissertation (1902) strictly within this "French" tradition. This study of his cousin, Helly Preiswerk's, mediumship discussed her fragment personalities, their relationship to one another, and their contribution to the maturational challenges of puberty. In retrospect, we can read this document as an introduction to Jung's theory of the complexes. He showed in his word association experiments (1906, 1909) that an indefinite number of complexes operate autonomously below the surface of everyone's consciousness. They emerge when some event in the environment, possibly as inauspicious as the sound of a casual word, evokes them. Complexes are the sub-personalities into which our psyches have been "split." Such a formulation, common to both Jung and his French forebears, implies an original wholeness which has been injured or wounded in some way.
Trauma, indeed, has usually been linked with dissociation, as its putative cause. Janet (1898) shows how the evidence moved him away from the notion of a wound caused by a discrete "big-blow" to the psyche toward a theory of intra-psychic dynamics. Meanwhile, Freud accepted a big-blow theory in his contributions to Studies on Hysteria (1895), but a decade later significantly modified the doctrine, now seeking the etiology of neurosis in typical interactions between parents and children (Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality, 1905).
Vacillation between a big-blow theory of accidental wounding and a gradual development theory of essential woundedness has been wide-spread in the history of psychoanalysis. But the two models are not mutually contradictory. The notion of gradual wounding implies that to some extent we are all injured through neglect and mistreatment in our earliest infancy, however commonplace and unintended this may be, making it a general metaphor for the human condition. Gradual wounding belongs to our essence. Acute wounding, in contrast, occurs through damaging events which exceed the norm in every respect and is therefore accidental to the human condition." http://www.jrhaule.net/wound.html

Merlin-2598
Relates to the seeking of magic and mystery. Helps attune one to the wisdom and power of the ancient Magicians and Alchemists.

Merlin the magician, the mystical, magical wizard of wizards, helps you reawaken to the wise wizard and master magician you are, that we all are, and sometimes forget. He helps you remember that magic is your natural state, the rule rather than the exception to the rule.
Magicians and wizards play with molding, sculpting, shaping, and directing energy, with purpose. It is not for the squeamish. It takes great courage to know you are creator, to be a purposeful and more fully awakened conscious creator.

Merlin Archetype Energy:
We have in our hands, at our very finger tips, electomagnetic energy and the ability to create, shape or mold that energy into any reality we desire. It is the very same energy that creates and flows through the entire infinite cosmos.
Upon our births we came with an incredible force or energy Source. Sometimes we forget how powerful we are. Merlin reminds people to use the power that they already have and are using, to create even more magical lives.
Wizards are aware of their enormous power and make great use of their power by using it intentionally, deliberately, and on purpose. Mystical magicians know the energy they flow...it takes them right to where they want to go. Often, what happens is that people who aren't aware that they are a wizard, flow their energy to where they don't want to go, and that is what creates anything less than a magical life.
Merlin, through the many ways to play, brings into balance the masculine and feminine principles within all of us, both male and female. When we balance the whole of who we are, we come to know our natural state of magic, because we are then operating or functioning as a whole being. When we attempt or try to function or operate with only a part of the whole, we naturally feel less than wholly who we are, which doesn't feel very magical.
If we, as individuals or as a collective whole, integrate and thus apply the information given by Merlin, it can assist us in bringing us back into balance. When we are balanced we come from our center, our third eye point of view, and in that state we can create anything, easily and effortlessly, as life was intended to be.
The Merlin archetype energy is very much that of balancing both the feminine and masculine energy principles, by more fully integrating the feminine principle that has been largely forgotten by most. It assists people who want to get more of the things they desire in life, by going back to where all life begins. It is about going back to the womb of wisdom and the cave of creation, deep within. If one decides to remember all parts of the whole, our natural state of being, magic becomes the rule rather than the exception.
When the feminine part of self is reawakened and remembered, there one will find the realm of magic, wonder - the wizard, the alchemist, seer, sorcerer or mystical magician.
Merlin represents the occult sciences, that of the mystic arts and alchemy, knowing that anything can be changed, as we return to our natural magical state of being. We remember that our outer world is merely a mirror of what we project from within, awake or asleep to the awareness that we are creators, creating with every breath we take and with every beat of our hearts...one moment at a time...as time consists of only one moment.
Where does Merlin and Camelot exist, really? In the land of dreams and visions, where wizards love to play. They bring us to a feeling place that dwells within us, in our imaginative world, the world within, where all magic must begin. This is where we tune into and thus turn the key to creation. We unlock mysteries that tell us why we get what we get in life, and how we can then go about getting what most excites us.
People with strong Merlin placements want to remember the whole of who they are. They have had enough of lack, limitation, hard work, disease, struggle, suffering, and pain. They know there is something else to remember, and want to reawaken the power of the feminine principle. This has nothing to do with separation of the sexes ... but rather the fuller integration of the feminine energetic principle within all of us, both the male and female.
Merlin helps us to return to our power by balancing and thus functioning as the whole being we know we are. This information is so old that it seems all new again. And equally, it comes from our future...all happening in our NOW.
Merlin archetype energy loves word play, coming through in playful riddle, rhyme, and with a rhythm. He has a wonderful kind wise energy about him, and pulls people in, to remember who they really are.

I'd also check your Chiron/Sedna/Dejanira/Philomela/Ophilia/Nessus...any other asteroids that bring pain or vulnerability.

Wow, Gabby. That's ... a LOT. And just when I thought I could take a break ...

Out of curiosity, while I certainly see things written of MERLIN, I never see anything on MAGION - and THAT's the one that keeps popping up.

Any ideas? Thanks for the absolute wealth of information!

Im sure youve already read this, its just a copy n paste off the net...
2696 Magion:
Mageon, or Magion: the land of the Gnomes
The Land of the Gnomes, or Magion/Mageon, is the area where Gnomelaguardia exists, where the Magonistic Elves dwell, where the horned elves lye, where the voles rage, where the Hob-Goblins live in Hob, and where many other kindoms, including the Dwarvish empire reside. This world has the largest diversity of intelligent species, and the second largest population of all the worlds. Middle Earth and its rapidly breeding humans hold this title. A large skill in Gnommish culture is Magery. You start out as a student, then become a shaman, then become a teacher, or wise man. From there you may become a magician, mage, wizard, necromacer, fortune-teller, sorcerer, herblorist, or astronomer. Magicians eventually learn to teleport, mages and sorcerers learn how to teleport or shape-shift, wizards learn how to control all four elements, fortune-tellers learn how to see past, present, and future, astronomers learn how to use the stars to change charts, herblorists learn how to cure anything and become plants, and necromacers learn how to travel to worlds of the dead. Magion holds an extremely large variety of practicers of magic, and a large understanding of the workings of the tree. By area, Magion is the largest world.

Since Magion seems to have more to do with the mythology of non-human elves....while Merlin is a magician/sorcerer, i thought maybe some information on elves might help to find how these asteroids are different, its a place to start?
Magion seems to have a possibility of trickery, light/darkness....one loving humanity the other hating it... that fits very well with the issues of my Moon, pain and issues with being tricked, but also potential for love and protection!

"Elves were often portrayed as benevolent and helpful creatures, albeit a bit mischievous from time to time. However, a few cultures viewed them as evil incarnate and took precautions to protect themselves from them.

Mythology as a whole, verifies that it could be difficult to determine the sex of elves. Both males and females possessed delicate features, long flowing hair, sparkling dark eyes, pointed ears and a great deal of grace. Such a description easily explains why elves were often portrayed as strictly feminine in certain types of folklore. Many believe that an elf's face beams an inner light that makes them appear angelic.

Light elves were considered peace-loving creatures who were tasked with the preservation of nature. However, they were believed to love all things beautiful, often assisting mankind by delivering inspiration for musical scores and stunning works of art.

Good elves were considered to be exceedingly beautiful, with faces that "beam" a natural inner light, making them appear to be almost angelic. They almost always wore white or extremely pale colors with metallic threads running through it.

Dark elves, on the other hand, were sometimes depicted as being pitch black with florescent eyes. They sported nothing but black, dark gray, or silver clothing. Even though their features very much resembled those of light elves, their countenance could often take on a demonic quality, which might explain why they are often associated with black magic.

Dark elves are exceedingly prideful and full of spite. Some claim these creatures hated mankind and loved to plague humans with their many pranks. They were believed to possess strong spirits and equally strong, agile bodies.

Light elves were believed to live in lush forests near wooded lakes. Dark elves, on the other hand, are banished to caves and underground ravines.

In many cultures elves are depicted as fully-grown humans much like those that were featured in "Lord of the Rings." But in some instances they have been reduced to smaller sized humans with slightly distorted features. Some indicate that elves can be so small that they can work in our world without being seen.

Elves have heightened senses that allow them to hear and see better than most humans. Some cultures also believed that elves possessed a kind of extra sensory perception that allowed them to "tune in" to things happening around them so that they could rush to the aid of those in trouble.

Many believe that elves are immortal while others believe they simply live to a ripe old age; as much as 1000 years. Still others believe that an elf's life span depends upon the creature's life journey. They think that elves live as long as is necessary for them to complete their tasks in life. Once everything is completed, the elf dies. In any case, death is not something that elves feared. They accepted death as a return to nature.

While many believed that elves co-existed with humans in the mortal realm, others claimed that they had the capability to move between the level of humankind and the netherworld. Not bound by the laws of the nature, it was thought that elves could move through solid surfaces like walls, windows, and doors to gain entry wherever they chose." http://voices.yahoo.com/elves-exploring-legend-myth-517861.html?cat=37

There is a lot more information than what i posted on the site!

I have noticed Magion on an important place in my natal chart, too.

conjunct ALMA (Soul)
conjunct CHARIKLO* (Chiron`s wife)

all three on 6 Aries:

"A Man Succeeds In Expressing Himself Simultaneously In Two Realms"

Also conjunct AURA, GAEA and IC, all on 4.5 Aries

conjunct ALICE and SIRENE, both on 8 Aries

opposite Pluto on 9 Libra, TRANSYLVANIA and OVIDIUS on 7 Libra, COMPASSION on 6 Libra, and PLATO on 5 Libra, right on my MC.

Also trines HYPNOS on 6 Leo in 8th house

and

Mars (5 Sag)
POLYHYMNIA (6 Sag)

ASC - LUST - WISDOM - ANGEL - POSEIDON (7 Sag)

ATLANTIS (8 Sag)

Neptune (9 Sag) and NN (10 Sag)

squares

Venus on 6 Cap, and OSIRIS (7 Cap) and ISIS (8 Cap)

inconjunct

LILITH and RUDRA (6 Virgo)
HEKATE (8 Virgo)

What can I say? I probably know too many asteroids by heart.

oh on Chariklo:

"Chariklo: In Greek myth, Chariklo was the wife of Chiron. She offers relief from the dictates of patriarchy, through the safeguarding of sacred sexuality. Chariklo can represent balanced, active feminine expression, however she also serves in protection of social boundaries including those that are transgender or sexual in nature. The polarization of woman into virgin or ***** that characterizes many cultures, can be left behind for mature, self-fulfilled, maternal yet sexually active womanhood. As expressed by astrologer Philip Sedgwick, Chariklo is all about learning to maintain two important personal boundaries; one that would promote quality relations with other people and another that protects personal, sacred space, namely the enclosure of your own spirituality and individuality."

Interesting.

I never heard of Amfortas, but turns out he is on 10.05 Gemini in my 7th house, being conjunct my SN on 10.09 Gemini. That is quite tight.

My ASTARTE is on 10 Gemini as wel, and of course my DESC on 7 Gem nearby, KAALI and INANNEN on 12 Gem, WHITEKNIGHT on 13 Gem.

opposite

NN On 10 Sag, Neptune on 9.5 Sag, and MORGAN on 12 Sag.

quinkunx GUINEVERE and SPIRIT on 10 Capricorn both

KUNDRY on 24 Gemini in 7th house opposes MERLIN on 24 Sag exact, also conjuncts SWINDLE On 25 Gemini and SHAKESPEARE on 23 GEmini (with LIE On 20 Gemini) - all being retrograde!!!

Do I sense a past life drama unfold? lol

Well, PARSIFAL is on 11 Leo in 8th house, and sextiles AMFORTAS, and also trines Neptune, NN, MORGAN, so he is the release point for the opposition.

At the same time however he becomes one leg of a Yod, pointing at GUINEVERE-SPIRIT.
OH btw FAY is on 13 Cap, so prettty nearby as well.

Yeah, that happens a lot with my generation. lol
Actually Neptune-conjunct-NN is one of the tightest aspects in my natal chart.

Anyway Excalibur is on 5 Cancer in 7th house for me, not connected to the mentioned ones.

It is however opposite Venus on 6 Cap, and Tristan and Stonehenge on 3 Cap and squares Magion/Chariklo/Alma on 6 Aries and ocnjunct hte IC obviously, too.

Intrestingly it is conjunct my Draco Juno on 6 Cancer.

Tonight i found out my sadistically abusive step fathers birthday! Im kind of sick and blown away at the same time.
He was murdered by a man who was in the process of stabbing his wife, my step dad heard her screaming and went to pound on the door, the man who was stabbing his wife opened the door and stabbed him, fatally. The woman survived because of the distraction and was able to escape. She was stabbed somewhere like 17 times. we had already left him, but he was coming to find my mom, he said he was going to kill us.
My step father received a "Carnagie Hall' award for heroism...i found the day he died through this online, but i told my mom what id found and she was able to find his birthday through this.

Do you guys think the harsh aspects could indicate that I am destined to be an enemy of Christ ?

I dont see it like that, i think it shows the places you will have a struggle to find the connection with universal power your capable of having...not that your on the dark side!
Even though you may struggle, the closer you get to light it will get easier, as light is always more powerful than dark, you'll find strength as you work to overcome the hard aspects!

Some of these asteroids i know ive read about, but i cant remember their meanings...then others i dont think ive ever read about at all....can you give an idea of their meanings?

these are the ones im wondering about ...

Thanks Gabby

Laverna was a Goddess of thieves, tricksters, cheats and criminals

Tomyris was a Famous queen who promised to quench the man who killed her son's thirst for blood if he wouldn't retreat. He didn't retreat and was defeated and like she promised she did keep her word. I think she put his head in a container of some sorts filled with blood.

Cyrene was an amazon famous for being a lion killer.

Libitina was a Goddess associated with funerals and corpses.

Liebe is German for Love

Phaeo was one of the Hyades or "rainy ones"

Anastasia means resurrection

Phyllis hung herself after she realised her lover would not return to her.

Werdandi was one of the norns the Norse Fates. She represented the present or happening.

Edit..
Aries Amfortas in 11th, aries is a physical sign...your wounding of the soul could display itself in a physical way, self abuse, being wreckless with your own life physically or emotionally, but it has a physical affect like sickness. Possibly this could be displayed towards others, doing things to them to push them away, or hurt them which in turn hurts you when they leave or retaliate.
Example-"Mine is in Virgo, I'm very picky and hard on myself, judging myself as wrong or not good enough because if I was wouldn't God love me and my life be perfect like he intended for his children, no I must be bad because Adam and Eve had perfection until they God through them out because they were no longer in his favor...they were bad so they lost perfection/happiness. Since I don't have it I must be bad to...so I pick myself apart because of this belief stemming from my Amfortas wound."

On the bright side, "through imagination a lost opportunity is regained"
Have you ever heard the phrase to "square a circle"? Mathematically this is impossible to do because a square circumference/diameter is a perfect number with a repeating number, a circles circumference/diameter is an irrational number, its repeating number is inconsistent, it has a 'repeating' number that changes.
Einstein died trying to figure out how to get the circle squared, he lost prestige among his colleagues...he got close, but never could figure it out.

The thought behind trying to 'square a circle' is the theory of the universe ia as square, while the earth is a circle.
How do we, the circle, fit the concept of the universe, the square, into ourselves? If you can't square the circle then does that mean we cannot perceive our universe? Answer is....no, we can't perceive our universe....its of a different making than we are! Universal energy has no need to change, it has the ability to create perfect change.....the universe is a rational number, that creates our irrational number, with an erratic nature that perfectly creates friction, stress and change through growth!
Its perfection is its ability to create chaos that grows into symmetrical patterns through its own will. We are that chaos, the more we learn and understand the clearer our energy vibration becomes and universal energy is able to shine more vibrantly through us.

Amfortas wound keeps us chaotic and muddled up with pain, it dulls our light and is our greatest challenge in this life.

We perceive perfection, the universal perfection of constant, exacting, factual energy. But we are not of that energy anymore...Why? What did we do to be separated from that peaceful calm rational energy?

The Bibles tells of the human condition, our human perceptions need a way to answer these questions...we are no longer a part of the Universes calm, peaceful perfect energy...now we are in this chaotic, confusing ever changing energy that brings fear and pain. We feel pushed out of God's perfect peaceful world and into this cold, confusing, painful place...so we the Bible explaining humanities core belief, our Amfortas wound.
Its Kundry who indirectly, she was seduced or deceived, and takes part in creating Amfortas wound. Kundry is likened to Eve...who also was deceived and those actions led humanities belief that we sinned and that is why we have been shut out of God's Universal perfection.
That is the story we have subconsciously come to believe to explain why we hurt, why we feel so alone and shut off from Gods love, peace and perfection. This is the pain that set humanities chaos into motion as we feel the friction and stress that forces us further down into our pain until we hurt enough that we start to see life in a new way, we grow!

In order to grasp our universe we must adapt to what the universe is telling us....we must realize our perfection isnt the quiet, peaceful calm we knew, we are in a different place now. Perfection isnt what we were thrown out of by God because we were bad, perfection has exposed us to new obstacles so we deepen our ability to love because we are in a growth stage...God only rested on the 7th day, he was creating/expanding the universe, we were created in his image to further his work and bring light to his world, of course we are going to have a job also....we are deepening our ability to love through our pain. We will come to understand what love is and what fear is...we will eventually see how fear hurts and kills love if its allowed to fester and grow, eventually we will chose to turn away from fear and pain and stop listening to the ego....but for now, we are still learning.

For you, using your imagination to break down walls, learning what perfection is and accepting yourself as already being perfect, a perfect process of growth...is how you can overcome the fear of not being perfect, which we all have.

The belief that we could be that universal 'perfect' brings judgement because its based on a standard, standards require their be judgement to gauge it by....judgement brings fear. If we are judged not perfect, then we are shunned, thrown out from God's love...that fear blocks love! Our desire for perfection blocks us from accomplishing our mission, to learn a deeper love!
It is the struggle and victory over fear that allows the universe into our hearts so we can feel the truth of who we are and what we are meant to do. But its the back and forth chaos of allowing fear to win then overcoming it again and again until we GET IT....that is the perfect process of life in our growth stage Earth.
Step outside of that human perception of perfection and allow universal perfection to flow through you, so you flow with it! Earthly perfection is your hopes and dreams that run after, you stumble over and get up and keep going as you try to feel the world through love!
Saggy Excalibur in 7th, relationships including or with traveling, spirituality, learning are part of your souls missions....your higher self needs and craves someone to share your dreams with who fully understands your drive and ambitions are not just a casual passing thing but a growing part of who you are and where you are going!

Leo Merlin in 11th...
Fits very well your Amfortas wound, Merlin's "magic" allowed Lancelot to pull the sword from the stone!
The magic of believing in something is what creates magic...it's the belief that manifest itself into life! Merlin knew the ways to use the universes energy, what he did wasn't actual magic but power of knowing how to manifest your dreams into life through your beliefs.
Merlin, like Amfortas, is all about using skills outside the box, using your imagination, using the universes power to be happy, to be loving, and shining light to others without judgement! Can't let fear of not being good enough or rejected because your not 'perfect' rob you of your dreams. Our dreams dont need to be of 'perfection'.
We would do well to make our dreams and aspiration, to be the ability to stumble and fall, then get back up and stumble and fall again and again, until you truly get whatever lesson your learning AND to have fun in the process of stumbling....because thats why we are here, its the perfect process of growth!
Once you realize you can smile and love yourself through this process, seeing that stumbling isnt failure or imperfection, stumbling is strength because its shows the courage to try and to learn from it! Its the learning process that is human perfection.....once we see we are perfect, already, stumbling through our life is perfect...then we can extend that acceptance and respect to others and our Amfortas wound will become a place of compassion, understanding and love we have to give to others because we learned how to give it to ourselves!

Ok, so that was just my opinion! Lol
Ugh, I hope that doesn't sound preachy!! If it does im sorry!
