Can't find much on it anywhere outside of vague generalities. It's heavily involved in the synastry, especially with SATURN (conjunct ATROPOS, opposite SATURN-JUNO, and parallel). IP: Logged |

In ARIES and LIBRA. Not that I'm sure that matters. His MARS opposes his MOON exactly, which conjoins my SUN-PLUTO, 2° and less than 1°, respectively. Hence ... very involved in the synastry. IP: Logged |

What's the meaning behind Atropos Indigo? What does it represent? IP: Logged |

Thanks, tgem. I was about to toss in the towel there. Heh. And some information would be useful, no? Here's a smattering: http://darkstarastrology.com/asteroid-atropos/ http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum28/HTML/001448.html http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum28/HTML/000828.html The former threads are good, and definitely informative, but there's a difficulty in delineation. You know how some things jump right out at you? This doesn't. Least not for me. The consensus seems to be: • inevitability • endings • 'death' I have to say 'death' as it's confusing. Atropos certainly cut the thread of life - signalling mortal death. But, astrologically, we can't quite determine if ATROPOS has anything to do with physical death. It intrigues me because it's with SATURN in a synastry, and both are in my 8H. I've read that SATURN / 8H has been linked to, or delineated, as the SATURN being 'responsible' for the 8H's death. Quite the brow-raiser, to say the least. I'm not even sure how you'd natally interpret 4H SATURN-ATROPOS, outside of death of the father? But not if ATROPOS is only endings and inevitability. But I DO think there's truth to the 'inevitability' side of it. In some cases, there is a clear 'inevitability' about 8H matters for us. But then - WHAT 8H matters? That kinda covers a lot. Heh. See my confusion? I can't figure out what I'm dealing with here. His SATURN-ATROPOS is opposite my SATURN, and parallel my ATROPOS. It's also parallel his CHIRON and AMOR. Heavy stuff here. I can't see how to interpret it. It's like a big jumble of death, sex, inevitability, endings, and transformation - or something. It's that SATURN in my 8H and it's delineation that got me thinking, 'wait, is ATROPOS some kind of death marker?' So confused!

Oh! Forgot to add. It squares his 8H SUN which my TISIPHONE is conjunct. Furthermore, our TISIPHONES are parallel at exactly 32N. He's 13 years my senior, too. Hell, even those born the same months as we were don't also have TISIPHONE 32N, so it seems significant. I think it's the TISIPHONE involvement which actually freaks me out the most. That's just ... uncanny. 8H SUN-TISIPHONE square 4H SATURN-ATROPOS in 8H parallel 8C and ATROPOS? That's a helluva configuration. Still not sure how to interp TISIPHONE in astrological terms. She's had quite an impact, it would seem, on my karmic past. But actual interpretation? Scarce. And to make matters weirder? In the composite: ATROPOS-NNODE in 8H parallel TISIPHONE, SATURN and NESSUS. All parallel the 9C, too. In GEMINI, so linking up with MERCURY-VALENTINE-LUST. But maybe that's our work into erotophonophilia? We're looking at the psychosexual dynamics of lust murder, and how BDSM may be a contributing factor in the nonhomicidal population. Still doesn't really explain the synastry, though. IP: Logged | |
