It's not that bad afflicted but dejanira conjuncts her venus. The Lady who has Sirius conjunct descendant is 54 now and her love life has never been a bed of roses

Isn't the descendant more about the ideal partner than facts?

Dejanira conjuncts venus means she feels victimized in love relationships. I suppose it could be worse if she attracted "abuser-like" men. Does she have low self-esteem issues when in love ?It could also be because of that that she ended up self-sabotaging her relationships. I'm still learning on Nessus/Dejanira though.

Maybe Ami has better advice.

there were no abusing men but she does have a low self-esteem and tends to self-sabotage relationships. The last man who was interested in her had to deal with her tremendous sarcastic comments + distrust. it was awful to watch that.
And yes, she is always the victim when it comes to men even if she cheated as well. As a friend it's like "hey, okay he cheated on you but you cheated on him too and now you are the absolute victim? How does this fit?"
But she is very idealistic in love and has spiritual interests. That's why I thought that Sirius on the descendant reflects that
