Hence, the Child Asteroid assumes an important place in synastry. When my Child Asteroid touches someone’s Moon, I love the person. It doesn’t matter the travails. The love of a child is an enduring love. The world of a child is magical. Hence, the Child Asteroid takes this magic and infuses it into the relationships of those whom it touches. If there is any aspect that could substitute for Moon connections, it would be the Child Asteroid. Falling in love is child to child. If you have ever fallen in love, you know this to be true. That is what makes falling in love so other worldly. It is a trip to the heavenly regions while one is on earth. It is a trip to the child’s world where innocence reigns. All love is innocent. The Child Asteroid transports us out of our world of button down suits to a world of running free, running with abandon and most importantly, running with love. The only aspect I found under 3 degrees is
My child in Aqua. Trine his Mercury in Gemini.
I love that My child (aqua) is sext. Exact to Boda & Alma in Aries. Dont know how the last one manifest , but with the Mercury aspect we talk alot, about any subject , its like time stops when were together. IP: Logged |

My Mum`s Child conjuncts my Spirit and sextiles my Jupiter - both are under one degree.
my Child trines her Venus, but also squares her Pluto (2 degrees).
my Dad`s and my Child are square exact. His Child does trine my Chiron exact, too.
My Child is out of 2 degree orb of squaring his Pluto, and instead makes a Grand trine with his Mercury in Cap and his Saturn-ASC-conjunction in Virgo. IP: Logged |

Well my Child is exactly opposite his Valentine. HIs Child is opposite my Psyche and making a Grand trine with my Sun-Mercury-Merlin trine my Hygieia (one degree orb at most) IP: Logged |

From when I can remember my soul`s been weeping for what my Mum had to endure in her life; all the losses (her little brother at 2, her mother at 17 just to name two), the responisibility she had to take on at an age much too young. That she never really could be a child, and I suppose on a level I wanted to make up for that, or heal that, which of course is an impossible feat to do, and not my job as her child anyway. But just feelingwise.
Maybe it also makes me very compassionate and having more understanding for her, than other children might have, even when we are arguing, there is a part of me that simply understands (which makes it difficult to argue to be honest. lol). Interstingly her MC-NN-conjunction is right on my Ceres and also conjuncts my Jupiter. As for my Dad, I am not exactly sure about how the square expresses.
As long as I can remember he was almost like a pal when we were young. He was probably the one having the most fun playing. lol
He played and joked a lot with us, which maybe made some times the lines blurry; I did not experience him as a parental authority (that was my mom`s job). He was simply fun, playful, very supportive of us, very smart and intelligent, and always treating us children as equal partners in terms of communication. It was only sometimes that he would lose his temper. And never with me. (Losing his temper means that he can be quite impatient at times) Well, as a matter of fact I remember one time that *I* did lose it and hit HIM.
It was really nothing, but I was watching TV, he took the remote control and switched the channel, I told him I was watching the program, he took the remote control and switched the channel again and then I lost it. Literally seeing red.
Happened only once though, and I was probably even more shocked about me slapping my father than he was, though we DID have a mutual talk about boundaries after that. lol i suppose in some respect we are too similiar, including a Mars-Neptune-conjunction, and my Pluto conjuncts his Mars and SN exact. That is totally fascinating about your mother, Ceri! I have some people hassling me on FB about the asteroids being nothing. These people are so dumb  ------------------

The Child asteroid is the most like the Moon but even better in a way. I have my Child/Deja conj a person's Moon and I can play with this person like few others. I can just be like a happy child and free, as children are. I think the charts so define our relationships. You cannot make something be which is not there imo! ------------------

Mr Sag definitely makes me connect to my inner child quite strongly. Maybe the opposition isn`t that bad after all, but shining alight on my Child. On the other hand to me he exhibits such a strong childlikeness himself. lol

Just researching for a client chart today, and so I finally looked at my synastry with my mom to see fi there were child aspects... my child is in leo, perfectly conjunct my mother's saturn. I always experienced her as an emotionally cold mom, though she's very warm with children in general. This discovery is deeply resonant. She focused on the rules my entire life, and she's not available for nurture in a traditional motherly way, and so, my own psyche id's this as a wounding. My upbringing was strict, I was actively prevented from pursuing the arts as a career, and I have just recently realized my families joke about her being ocd is not really a joke at all, it's just the way we've come to deal with her actual OCD issues. It's great that we can laugh, and I love her a ton, but this conjunction remains responsible for my own self imposed restriction on performance, having kids, making art....these are restrictions because I fear there is no success to be had, or that I'm not responsible enough to allow myself to do it. Crazy how accurate and what a powerful mirror this is today. My question for those of you more attuned to asteroid study, is a Child/Saturn conjunction something I can focus on to alter the expression in a less limiting way?
