What does Jupiter rule in your chart ? What aspects does it make ? What house is it in ? Are there other asteroids involved ( conjunct, or with another planet that Jupiter is aspecting) This will help shed light on why it might be there. it could even be the case of where someone may lie to you so I say check the planets houses ect... I have found that if you have a "bad" asteroid like Lie, Nessus, Sedna etc, Jupiter will make it worse. It took me a long time and many charts to try to see what Jupiter did in these cases. I think it does this.Do you have issues with lying lol

This person's jupiter is not the chart ruler, it's in the 4th house, not really making any of the standard aspect with any other planet except a large 9 degree orb square to Chiron.

Yes, it has been also my observation that Jupiter tends to increase the characteristics of whatever it is conjunct with, esp the so called bad asteroids. If you are good, Jupiter makes you very good. If you're bad, Jupiter makes you very bad. And yes i am having an issue with someone who is deceitful and I checked their chart and bam, LIE conjunct Jupiter! ------------------

Yes, it has been also my observation that Jupiter tends to increase the characteristics of whatever it is conjunct with, esp the so called bad asteroids. If you are good, Jupiter makes you very good. If you're bad, Jupiter makes you very bad.And yes i am having an issue with someone who is deceitful and I checked their chart and bam, LIE conjunct Jupiter! Belage, I am glad I did not insult you  Yes, well said about Jupiter. Last night, I looked at the chart of someone who has caused me a great deal of angst. Guess what? He has Madhatter conjunct Jupiter lol ------------------

My Madhadder is on my IC and it's square to my Jupiter, which makes sense because I'm the only one in my family that tries to step away from the insanity and/or negates it when they try to bring it to me!
I'm more of a stabilizing type person, not a crazy maker like most people in my family.My asteroid lie opposes my jupiter...again I like things up front and honest, I can't stand liars! I have been lied to a lot though, probably jupiter touching the asteroid at all will expand it!
Madhadder has definitely been expanded in my life! Lol My jupiter is aries @15
