However, I wonder how one would see depression with the asteroids. To me, the asteroids will show most things if one can just find the right ones for the right person.

To me, the chart is a blueprint of each person, as a blueprint one would study to learn about the intricacies of a house. This is how I look at it, anyway.

My depression is on my Pluto, deprez is libra@11, my moms deprez is conjunct mine hers is libra@14
One of my brothers deprez is taurus@11, exact inconjunct mine and it squares his moon.
My other brothers moon is conjunct his deprez, it's cap@13, this falls on my IC and his deprez square both mine and my moms deprez!
His deprez is exact opposed his Venus also

My moms deprez opposes both my brothers Chirons and my jupiter...all under 2 degree aspects !

Like someone with it conjunct mercury might always talk about being depressed or just speak depressively in general. Talk therapy would probably be very effective for them....if they can vocalize the pain they can reach it and try to pull it out.

My Pluto conjunct my Deprez shows at first my depression caused me to be self destructive!
But also shows how to heal, I can effectively deal with my depression by tearing everything up and rebuilding it. Healing comes through feeling I am making progress and leaving no stone unturned in finding all the ways my pain has affected me and changing it.

Moon conjunct deprez would be really feeling your depression emotionally very deep! They will fall in deep dark holes of pain! To overcome your depression you would have to work through the emotions, really address the feelings...allow yourself to accept and feel them again and then use them, act out what you feel , if it's hatred, hate until you don't hate anymore, if it's fear, fear until you don't feel fear anymore....accepting not rejecting the emotions the key that will allow them to purge the pain!

Conjunct Uranus might cause someone to do impulsive things....drink, eat, compulsively spend, sex....as they try to stop hurting! Healing would come from focusing their independence and originality on things that build their self esteem...and help them feel valued as an individual.

Conjunct Venus might be someone who uses love or a relationship as their self esteem and can't be without a relationship or they fall apart. Healing would come from accepting nobody can make you happy unless your already happy and then spending time alone and learning to love yourself.

Let me know. I could use the name Gabby if you want. I didn't write it so I can't use my name but when I write articles, they go to all my Astrology groups and I have about 8 and then people comment and check out their own asteroids.
