Wow Ami! That shows potentially an emotionally sadistic person!
Retrograde could be sado/masochistic or it could give the person an awareness of how others are messed up from pain and act out on it.....seeing sadistic tendencies in others more than being that way themselves!Which sign and house is your moms moon and how does this aspect you? IP: Logged |

Thank you, Friends. I love you guys so much--Gabby, Crabby,IQ and all my supportive, beloved friend here.I am astounded myself. I did not look if it was Retrograde, Gabby As far as her time, I am not sure. I know she is a Cappy ASC as she fits it in looks, perfectly.
This is interesting because the Red Queen Asteroid was 4 degrees from her ASC and I wonder if it was actually conjunct it.
I should fool around with the time. I will come back and tell you the house, Gabby, and how it aspects me. ------------------

I am looking at the synastry. I will put up the aspects that I see.Her Moon is Libra, my fave moon lol--a cold moon. It is in the 9th house which makes sense cuz she is intellectual. In house overlay, it hits my first house. Get this? Her Moon/Sado squares my Jupiter in the 10th House, house of going out into the world. Her Moon/Sado squares my Uranus in the 10th House( again the house that matures and goes into the world) Her Moon/Sado conj my neptune( 3 degrees) What would this mean? I could not see her? She could not see me, maybe. Which do you think or both? It was really both. I was in a total fog about her and am still trying to come out. her Moon/Sado trines my Sun. ------------------

Her Moon/Sado square your Jupiter and Uranus, the emotional abuse steals happiness, joy and a faith in the world around you to be a kind loving world.
She can harden you by hurting you, stealing your creativity and ability to act independently without fear or worry that leaves you questioning yourself. She can stifle your ability to believe in yourself and really feel free to follow your dreams without fear.
Neptune can allow you to lose sight of reality or not trust your self awareness, you lose perspective! You may start to wonder if she really did anything at all because it's hard for you to believe anyone would hurt you like that...especially when there's no real reason for it!
If she won't admit to any wrong and validate you....you might have the tendency to get weak sometimes and worry that its you who's in the wrong or blowing it out of proportion.
Your right it is hard to see straight when Neptune has that fog around you, and really no matter how deep it's buried, everyone wants to love their mom, even if they don't deserve our love!
She won't see you straight either, she emotionally sees you through her conjunction and that's an emotional abusive conjunction!
She believes what she does is justified...she cant see anything different unless she chooses to open up to her own pain, the reason that asteroid sits on her moon isn't to hurt you, its to wake her up to what's going on inside her soul so she can grow and change! Until that happens she won't be able to stop projecting her issues onto you!
Neptune can make it difficult to stay in a place that allows you to continually protect yourself and you might find yourself walking back into the same traps over n over again because you just let it go and forgave her, really you don't want a fight you just want to forgive and love your mom!

this is really weird .. i thought sado would either be in my chart or those who i've loved. (haven't checked with family) it doesn't seem to feature in either. BUT in one of the chart composites it's conjunct sun exact, in another conjunct moon by 1 and a third conjunct venus by 2. IP: Logged |

Personal thoughts on Sadism:I don't believe that having this asteroid prominent in the natal would be enough to create a sadistic personality. Sadism requires an object to project its energy onto in order to manifest outwith the personality, so I think it would be latent without being activated by an overlay. However, one who is generally unable to channel, manage or transform negative energy (their darkness) constructively or peacefully, will seek out an appropriate object to project this energy onto.
