I cannot wrap myself around this asteroid. Some are hard to understand and make practical. I feel this way about this one. To me, if it cannot be made practical, it is of little use.

Re: Shiva/Siva

I'm not very good at this, but to me, Siva represents powerful spiritual energy, somewhat like Kaali but more positive/beneficent and masculine, rather than negative and feminine.

Shiva is a major Hindu god, part of the Hindu "trinity" which includes Brahma and Vishnu. "Brahma is the creator of the universe while Vishnu is the preserver of it. Shiva's role is to destroy the universe in order to re-create it." [This is an oversimplification, but the most succinct and practical definition I can find].

You cannot, however, use just the word "destroyer" as that does not capture the complete essence; it is also about re-creation and re-birth after death/loss.

I would think someone with Siva conjunct the ASC (or in any prominent position in the chart) would have the potential to recreate and better themselves after major loss in their life, especially in spiritual ways (although the way it manifests may depend upon house and sign placement). They may be motivated to clear out the deadwood, so to speak, in their life. If seriously afflicted, I would think they might get stuck, have difficulty dealing with change and loss, and have difficulty moving on.

people always ask my ethnicity, but I'm pretty much just a euro-mutt as far as I know. I do look pretty ambiguously ethnic, though.

people also think I'm pretty *mysterious* and dark and sometimes take more interest in my sexuality than I do..

sometimes people make assumptions that I'm very sexually experienced, when in actuality I am a 24 yr old virgin
I honestly, never meant to be celibate, it just comes from a deep connection I feel to that "wild woman" sexuality and an inability to find where my sexual expression fits into the way the people in my city date/f*ck/form relationships. I feel very unwilling to compromise and value my sexual freedom. from a young age, I also formed strong sexual astral relationships which I didn't understand very well until I was much older, but which I have always found a lot of value and fulfillment in.

At first I thought wow people are really ignorant... I never asked about others racial background because it does matter and honestly I am pretty good at figuring that out, because THIS ISN'T 17 CENTURY or Texas, I'm aware of other cultures and racial backgrounds even names LOL.

But i think it's because their is this exotic mysterious vibe.
I always give ambiguous answers LOL so that does not help.

I won't go over most things at 8 Leo separately, but most are still under 2 degrees conjunct the Asc. Mahakala ties to Shiva same as Hanuman and the two are the closer Hindu pantheon representatives on the ASC. Tara + Ganesa are found at 9 Leo, but wider of it already. I don't remember or have written down what I had at 5 Leo other than Gold.

Asc- within a few minutes - Balakrishnan - the child Krishna, a Hindu God.
(Btw, my bf also has Balakrishnan conj his Asc - how weird is that!)

Within 2 degrees - Knight and Moira.

So, predestination is strong - and I may be a do gooder of some sort. Perhaps youthful in my approach (child Krishna) or appearance. Nice!

People CONSTANTLY tell me I have "native american" energy about me (honestly people on the street will say this, and I don't even try to come off that way). It's definitely not something that I TRY to "look" like, I guess I just naturally have that? My old boss used to tell me this, my friends at my yoga studio, etc. etc. it goes on and on.

Additionally, I actually MARRIED someone who is of Incan descent!! My MIL is Incan, so my husband is half Incan. Before realizing I had this asteroid placement, I had a strange belief that part of my soul mission was to carry on that Incan lineage, so when I saw that in my chart I got chills. How weird!
