Is it important that Pallas makes aspects in order to be able to recognize/see pattern? I am taking part time classes in fashion design and have noticed that pallas is basically unaspected I hear Pallas plays a major role in fashion design, because it gives the individual the ability to see pattern. I have Pallas in the second Saggi semi-sextile Mercury in the 1st house Scorpio and semi-square Venus in Libra 12th house and lastly biquintile Jupiter in Aries 7th house.

How many of you would actually do well in this exam, I got 3 outta the rest which is terrible not to mention I struggled to see the pattern. Then when I read the explanation I was like ooooh there it is I see it. :/ Would having an unaspected Pallas make me a bad fashion designer (granted my designs are unique) but would I not be recognized (known) as a fashion designer maybe because I won't stand out because I am missing those important aspects I need with Palllas?

Thank you, hope to hear your opinions.

I got all 5, and my Pallas is unaspected as well. I don't know too much about Pallas, but if it made that huge of a difference, I don't think I would've done quite as well. I think the planet that makes the biggest difference is Mercury. Good Mercury aspects, prominent Mercury, Mercury as the ruler of the chart, or strong Virgo/Gemini placements could all potentially enhance your abilities to recognize patterns. I have Virgo rising, which makes Mercury my chart ruler, and I have good Mercury aspects. That's what I'd attribute it to.

I'm sure there are different kinds of pattern solving abilities though. Some of these were math based. You may not be able to make out patterns in numbers, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you can't make them out in designs. Think about which ones you got correct. The last one would probably be the most important for you and maybe the first. Although, I found the first one to be difficult and less a pattern than an anti-pattern. (The correct answer was the one that didn't fit. There was a rectangle, a triangle, and a square already, so it had to be the trapezoid because that was the only one missing.)

You might want to look at your Midheaven as well. A Venusian MC (Libra or Taurus, especially the former) could indicate a career in the arts as could strong Venusian placements.

Good luck with fashion designing

EDIT: I just noticed that your Pallas is in a Venusian house. Maybe that's a plus. Ofc, you can always overcome the difficulties in your chart through hard work.

Thank you so much King of Cups. Actually the last one was the first one I got then 4 and 3 but man did I struggle to get the last number I was on them for a WHILE number 1 and 2 I couldn't see any patter none at all I was like there's no pattern here! but now that you explained one i was like oooh ok now I get it! haha *sigh* I struggle with paying attention to detail I wonder if there are exercises and or books I can read to better *sigh*

Mercury is in Scorpio conjunct my AC but it makes no major aspects plus I have a 3 planets in 12th *sigh* I read that Neptune is not good in the 3rd house makes people struggle with learning, I had difficulty in early education :/ you really have to explain things to me in order for me to understand.

You have no idea how bad I would've liked for Mercury to make an aspect to Uranus ANY aspect just not a square.

Your lack of ability to see details is probably from your Mercury-Jupiter Opposition. This makes one a big picture person. Don't sign things without letting a lawyer read it first. With your Sun in the 12th, you probably have self-confidence issues. And with Mars in the 12th, that's probably heightened, taking away from your drive and ability to assert yourself also. Your chart isn't all negatives though, you have some really nice aspects too, especially the Saturn Conjunct Uranus.

Personally, I don't think that Mercury is Conjunct your Ascendant. I would consider that too wide an orb. Astrodienst rounds and uses an 8 degree orb, but your Conjunction is off by well over 8 degrees. I've read that 7.5 degrees is the most accepted orb for Conjuctions, but I'm not exactly sure.

I realized that Astrodienst actually uses a 10 degree orb, which is really wide.

It gives one the ability to materialize (Saturn) original/unique/revolutionary/innovative (Uranus) ideas. That is great. I'm Uranian, filled with all sorts of crazy ideas, but none have materialized yet. I am quite young still, so I have time. But I digress. What I'm trying to get at is that there are a lot of intelligent people in the world. There are a lot of creative people as well. But there are very few who are creative AND intelligent AND have the ability to bring their ideas to fruition. That is why we don't get Einsteins everyday. That is why we still have problems. Otherwise, someone out of the 7 billion people on the planet would've figured out how to make our world perfect.

I'm not saying that you are destined for greatness. You will have to work for it. And even then, you might not get there. That's the harsh reality. But Saturn Conjunct Uranus makes for someone who has the ability to do something revolutionary.

I have Pallas conjunct Venus and I only got 3 out of 5. Not to brag, but I'm really good at spotting patterns in anything artistic. However, math games have never been my strong suit even though I have a prominent Mercury and did relatively well in math in school (although it was never my strongest subject). Anyway, I don't think the type of pattern recognition ability you'll need as a fashion designer is the same as the type you need to do well on that particular quiz.

Also, I just noticed you have Pallas tightly trining your NN - the orb is only 2 minutes! So you do have a Pallas aspect.

Pallas retrograde and conjunct Moon in Virgo, 3rd house. Majoring in Mathematics and picking up Computer Science. The quiz comes trivial Good at grasping logic and proofs, but not at strategic thinking (terrible at board games).

I think Venus is more applicable to fashion design, whereas Pallas is analytic. They're different kinds of beauty. I wouldn't be looking at clothes and thinking "what a wonderful shirt, it fits the golden ratio!".

All the best!

Thank you so much guys for all your responses I have been practicing and doing a lot of quizzes on pattern identifying specially in shapes.. I started off with a 8 out of 35 and am now at 22 outta 35 each time the test is different but only aimed at identifying shapes and changes just like 1, 2 and 5 in the quiz above.

@StubbornOne you made me laugh thanks!

I got 2 out of 5
Pallas conjuncts my DNA, and sextiles Neptune

I agree with king, I have jupiter square mercury and I'm not good with details. I do think I gain wisdom with experience tho.

(3402) Wisdom trines Moon and sextiles Jupiter

Pisces Pallas conjunct pisces Vesta opposed unaspected virgo Moon in 12th.
Mathematical patterns I usually good with but I get bored n space out very easily, but with Neptune in my 3rd the only things that hold my attention must have a higher purpose and I need to feel the pattern more than see it.
6th house Pisces Pallas I think would act in the same way as Neptune in 3rd, if there isn't a big reason/higher purpose for seeing the pattern my mind just blanks out.

I have Pallas almost exactly on Ascendant and I didn`t do very well with the quiz. I solved quickly picture puzzles but numbers were challenging for me. I think that I see social patterns and my ability to organize and solve practical problems is above average, but I couldn?t learn to solve those number patterns to save my life.

I was just looking at Pallas the other day only to discover that I have Pallas conjunct my ASC and North Node at 1 degree.(and opposite the Sun). I have an impeccable sense for proportion and color.
