I'm doing some research on past lives using asteriods and am using the soulmate calculator as a qualifier to investigate further. I just have a couple minor questions...I'm looking at two couples, one has Venus conj ASC the other has Amor conj ASC for qualifiers. Later on though, the couple with Amor conj ASC gets 5 pts while the Venus/asc gets 0? Seems like if a planet or angle conj the ASC that should get points, too? Would Adonis conj Aphrodite be an acceptable soulmate pairing in place of Innanen? Are conj, opp, trines and quincunx still the only valid aspects for the soulmate pairings linked through a fate object? When looking at pairs in the same elements do you give a point for each pairing? Sorry if these were answered somewhere else.

Allow me to clarify, there are some errors of omission in my article, and I have not yet updated it with new research. It is just a general guideline. Venus conjunct Ascendant in Synastry, if within the orb limits, must get 5 points. ------------------

Yes I'm pretty sure Aphrodite/ Adonis is going to be the same as Innamen/Adonis
As for the soulmate pairings in the same element but not aspecting each other...I'm not sure how that plays out?Opposition/trine/sextile/square/quincunx or inconjunct
are all valid.

I am not necessary a fan of the use of Aphrodite and Adonis as a soulmate couple at least within the context of other soulmate couples Eros/Psyche, Isis/Osiris, Horus/Hathor etc because of their relationship lacks a "divine marriage". Both Aphrodite along with Innanen, Astarte and Ishtar are Venusian energy but I don't believe Aphrodite is interchangeable with the other representations of Venus. Plus in the myths specifically mentioning Adonis and Aphrodite he was either not interested in her because he was interested in hunting or he was a baby being fought over by Persephone & Aphrodite.IP: Logged |
