FOR FUN: You've fallen head over heels for someone, would you be willing to Take a Risk with one of the choices below to be with them? If so, which one would you choose?

A) Your Interest's Love asteroids (& Venus) have NO aspects to your Planets. Possibly making the connection completely one-sided.

B) Your Synastry between the Planets are good, but then you see the dreaded Nessus square Dejanira... you being Dejanira.

C) Your Interest has every "Soulmate" contact with you (ex: Eros-Psyche, Osiris-Isis, Zeus-Hera, etc.) Though you wonder if it will last because while Saturn is non-existent in your Synastry, Uranus is.

D) Somehow your Interest has a conjunction between the asteroids (Lie, Swindle, Casanova, and Nemesis) in their Natal chart. And what's worse? They all square your Sun.

E) I wouldn't take a Risk.

C

We have EVERY soulmate contact. Uranus may make our relationship up and down, but I feel like we could make it through that if we had such incredible synastry outside of lack of Saturn contacts. And it would definitely be an amazing experience regardless of whether or not it works out (unlike Nessus Square Dejanira).

Definitely B, that wouldn't be an issue unless your partner is abusive in the first place. With D I would be on guard but I would go for it anyway. C would seriously concern me but there might be Saturn in the composite. I will say total lack of Saturn would be a serious warning sign.

A is the worst would of the bunch but a full 7th house in the synastry and a romantic composite chart could make up for the lack of Venus. If none of those factors were present I would be more concerned about that than I would be about half a dozen hard aspects to Venus.

Uranus is my DC-ruler. There is nothing it'd do that would harm me if meant to be already, anyway. You don't say "give Saturn the finger" without possible trouble, but Uranus is still more it.

A still has Sun, Moon, Mars and other things as vast potential contacts. What would you need Venus for? There's no such thing as no aspects from any love asteroids, there always being something if there is a connection in the first place. Quintile, sesquiquadrate, whatever, one or two here or there, or your contacts to their Sun, Moon, Pluto and such.

I have Casanova square Sun already. Either theirs would oppose or conjunct mine, so that alone wouldn't kill anything. The rest I'm not particularly interested in. Dejanira-Nessus is one contact, likewise no "breaker" if it's the right person with "lofty" enough sides otherwise.

C's a shoe-in, all but D doable depending on what else there is, and I guess if D is fantastic otherwise even D is considerable. Except in my chart, where it'd be on my Sun/Moon MP. It's all about what there is in your own chart as well.

I pick C!!!

But for real...I had all the true love/soulmate aspects, even North Node conj ASC & opp Vertex, every asteroid match up in the book with someone, good Venus/Mars & Venus/Moon both ways and what looked to be pretty mild, even tenuous Saturn synastry. Lots of Uranian conjuncts & Squares tho!

Well, I fell hard for him. He liked me for a hot second then decided he just wanted to be "friends". I cried my eyes out. Asked God to keep us connected. Now, due to circumstances beyond our control, we find we are on & off roommates and the Saturn bonds feel CRAZY. Sometimes we can't get away from each other!!! There is always some crazy thing that comes up we have to deal with. lol. And we look at each other, shake our heads, laugh, roll up our sleeves and get to it.

Composite Sun & ASC are conj his natal Saturn. My Saturn for once just sweetly sextiles everything - composite and natal. ;}

I was unpacking papers recently and found all my starry eyed "research" one year later & shredded it all. If I had only known then what I know now...

All this to say...you can never predict how things will turn out. If it's meant to be, it will be. Somehow, someway. Much of it we can only truly understand in retrospect. (But it's sure fun trying I guess.)

Oh and...Careful what you wish for...Oof. ;}

I check my personal charts after the relationships starts, after some time, so by then, it's already too late

Asteroid Lie was named after mathematician Sophus Lie from Norway, so no connection with "lying".

If there's any risk I fear in this regard, it's the risk of self-hypnosis and self-fulfilling prophecies based on an incomplete understanding of astrology. With a Neptune in 1st House retrograde trine Moon I have to take some precautions in this regard.

My man has Lucifer conj. Sun (orb 0°38). Does this mean I'm with the devil? (j/k)

Well said Vajra. Love can over come anything, even astrology (unless you are married to the devil)!
