Daphnis and Chloe is the story of a boy (Daphnis) and a girl (Chloe), each of whom is exposed at birth along with some identifying tokens. A goatherd named Lamon discovers Daphnis, and a shepherd called Dryas finds Chloe. Each decides to raise the child he finds as his own. Daphnis and Chloe grow up together, herding the flocks for their foster parents. They fall in love but, being naive, do not understand what is happening to them. Philetas, a wise old cowherd, explains to them what love is and tells them that the only cure is "kissing."[2] They do this. Eventually, Lycaenion, a woman from the city, educates Daphnis in love-making. Daphnis, however, decides not to test his newly acquired skill on Chloe, because Lycaenion tells Daphnis that Chloe "will scream and cry and lie bleeding heavily [as if murdered]."[2] Throughout the book, Chloe is courted by suitors, two of whom (Dorcon and Lampis) attempt with varying degrees of success to abduct her. She is also carried off by raiders from a nearby city and saved by the intervention of the god Pan. Meanwhile, Daphnis falls into a pit, gets beaten up, is abducted by pirates, and is very nearly raped. In the end, Daphnis and Chloe are recognized by their birth parents, get married, and live out their lives in the country.[2][3]IP: Logged |

I don't know if there is an exact Daphnis I don't have my computer to look...I do know there is Daphne, my Daphne falls on my Venus but I have never felt the story of Daphne, running from Apollo because he was I love with her fit me...she was turned into a tree to avoid him.
I just found me and my potential 'TF' but I know for sure he's a soulmate, we have these asteroids conjunct aqua@24 on his asteroid Angel. They make a t-square with my NN and his Venus.
In Draco my Chloe falls on his Venus and his Daphne trines my Venus exact.
In Helio his Chloe trines my Karma and his Daphne squares my Karma. My Chloe falls on his Neptune and my Daphne falls on his Pluto.41 Chloe

We have an exact contra-parallel of my Daphne/his Chloe in synastry. But what intrigued me the most was this mirroring/complementary pattern happening in our natals:
my Daphne conjuncts my Venus 0°
his Daphne conjuncts his Mars 0°

His Daphne sextiles my Chloe. Nice!I wonder if this theme signifies the coming together of two people who have endured abuse/misuse at the hands of others. But more intriguing is this - we have Chloe / Isis DW:
His CHLOE is conjunct my ISIS
My CHLOE is conjunct his ISIS So, we have composite CHLOE conjunct ISIS in the 1st house by 1 degree. Any idea what this might indicate? I wonder if it is anything to do with the theme of loyalty or regeneration as indicated in the quote below::

Huh. My husband and I have them conjunct (0°) at 28° Libra, on my APHRODITE/ADONIS.His CHLOE and my DAPHNE. Heh. Guess that follows, seeing as it's his PSYCHE on my EROS. And ISIS (widely) conjunct my OSIRIS. He always gets to express the feminine in our dynamics. Heh. Oh! Wait! I think his ADONIS as conjunct my APHRODITE ... IP: Logged |
