Well breaking down the relationship and sex houses this how I see things.

The 5th house is the house of self expression, romance, general pleasure and recreational sex.

The 8th house is intimacy, merging resources etc.

The 12th house is the collective unconscious, spirituality, enlightenment, fantasies, our secret sexual pleasures, tantra, our subconscious etc. My Mars is in the 12th and the ruler of my 12th is Mars (Aries).

I guessed mine right! In Aries, 5th house. Protective of self, children, and all the goodness of life, including me It also conjuncts my Jupiter (2) and NN (4). I
Am protective of others too, since it's opposite of my SN and moon :P

What's the story behind it? What would it mean in synastry?

12th house is vedic astrology is house of bed pleasures (what you do in private) 8th house is outward sexuality, what we know we like etc etc etc.

Mine conjuncts my South node soo that's interesting I guess :P

I have this in Aries in the 10th 1 degree from my MC. What could that mean?

I'm not really career or status driven (Chiron sits close by, also in the 10th). Maybe other people see me as protective, or since it's in Aries, maybe overprotective. Anyone else with it on the midheaven?
