I have been mulling over this question for a few months already. What if your name isn't Sharon or Penelope or Sandra (which have asteroids named "exactly" after them)? What if your name is Francesca or Francesco, or Joshua or Wayne or Edward? Then what would your name asteroid be? Has anyone figured this out? IP: Logged |

Are you sure there isn't a Wayne or Joshua? Chances are there is. My name is not common. However, there are two asteroids with my first name and two different last names associated with it. I looked at both in my chart and the chart of people I am close to, like my parents. Then I picked the one that seemed to make aspects and went with it. Not very scientific but it seems to be working even with progressions and transits. Sometimes spellings are different but that should work too. IP: Logged |

nope, not finding a Joshua or a Wayne. My point is, for Joshua should I use Joseph? And then do I use OldJoe or JosephBarone? See what I mean?IP: Logged |

Hmmm, that's tough. Well, take Joshua for example, and look for different forms of it, Such as Josh, Essa, Isa and Jesus. If you can find any of those see how they aspect in your chart. When i was first looking at my name I looked for different roots of it as well (ie Mary, Marie , Maria, Marilyn, Marlene, etc.). Another example, there is no David only Davida, but Davida works well in my charts. Is your last name common? If so maybe you could try that? If your name is really rare I guess there isn't much you can do .IP: Logged | |
