I just checked and I have Poseidon conjunct ascendant. Not sure what that means.

Hi there. Did you mean natally or in synastry? I have it natally. Moon is @ 25.50 Virgo, and Poseidon is @ 25.53 Virgo.

I actually wasn't surprised to discover this in my chart. It fits with the overall Neptunian theme of my chart. I've got Sun, Venus, Mercury, and Mars in the 12th along with a Neptune fire singleton that trines my MC. So, when I first found out Poseidon was sitting right on my Moon, I just thought... hmmph... well that figures.

Natally. What a nice addition Do you consider your emotional nature Neptunian?

Thank you.

Am I emotionally Neptunian? Yes, very much so. More so than I'd like, actually. With my moon being in Virgo and 3rd house, I want SO much to be more emotionally even keeled. Never works out that way.

I'm Cancer rising, so the world starts and ends with my emotions. I think that Poseidon being on my moon adds a strong Neptunian feel that permeates all my emotions.

For example, I'm a hopeless romantic. Sexually, it CANNOT happen without a strong emotional attraction. Music moves me so deeply that I can't listen to certain songs unless I'm alone. It would be too hard to hide my emotional reaction to them. Things like that. But, with me having a Neptune singleton, and 4 personal planets in the 12th, it's hard to know how much of a role Poseidon on my moon plays.

I will say I'm glad it's there, though. I wouldn't want to move it. I think it's another reason that when someone hits my moon in synastry, the reaction is so strongly Neptunian.

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you manage your Neptune well enough. Also in my case it's rather hard to be sure how strong Poseidon is, I have Sun conjunct Neptune. But I suspect it does have an impact on my Moon. It's out of sign so it gets even more interesting

Sun conjunct Neptune. I like that one.

It seems lots of charts I've looked at with Poseidon conjunct a personal planet or luminary usually have other strong Neptunian "signatures". It's like the Poseidon aspect underscores that vibe or acts to lend Neptunian support.

I wonder how Poseidon on Moon or Sun would feel in a chart with no other strong Neptunian features.

I know one person who has Sun CONJ Poseidon, but it doesn't make any sense because she doesn't like the sea lol.

She loves snow and prefer the cold weather. DNA CONJ *Polaris orb -(0º) http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Polaris.html

This makes sense. I also have neptune in the 1st which gives me a very neptunian vibe.
