Good work in identifying and checking these Asteroids. More than indicating whether or not you can be a writer, these Asteroids will give clarity on the ideal writing style, or can inspire a fusion of themes for you.For assessment about being a writer or not, check your 3rd House Ruler, and check the strength of Asteroid MUSA. Those with 3rd House Lord conjunct MUSA and FORTUNA are people who can click in writing. ------------------

My 3rd house lord is mars...
but has no conj nor aspect with Musa and Fortune :(
MUSA:in virgo, 8th, trine moon,trine mercury, trine uranus,trine neptune,trine vertex,conjunct vesta
FORTUNA :in libra, 9th, square moon, inconj mercury, bi-quintile venus,trine saturn,square neptune,square uranus,sextile vertex,trine lilith,trine ceres, semi-sextile vesta Guess that I can't be one, according to these asteroids ------------------

You can be a writer if you write and keep at it. What you may want to know is if you'll be a successful or well-known writer, which is another thing from asking about being a writer. If you have a need to write and it transforms into you putting in the hours you need to become better at the craft, you will most likely also eventually write well. It still doesn't necessarily mean you'll automatically get discovered or have success with publishers until perhaps much later, but you will develop in your writing and be a writer whatever anybody else says. Musa in Virgo trine Mercury (if the orb is close enough) still bodes well from my perspective for a certain flow with the writing or ideas. You list a lot of trines so I'm not sure if they're in orb or not. quote:

Thank u! U are right..I must practice first...and about the recognition , that will be out of the question...lots of interpreters in my natal chart told me that with that jup square sun and with saturn doing dunno what in the chart..I will never be fully repaid for my efforts no matter how hard I try...and it' s a thought I am getting used to..they said that as related to writting books and career. I want to write..to be an underground writer, lol..( mc in scorp-pluto) but a great one! I actually think that a best-seller is not necessarilly a good book, it's commercial..I preffer to be a small one..but interesting with smth to say!  ------------------

@iQ: Do both Musa and Fortuna have to be Conjunct the Third House Lord or would one or the other be fine, especially if that one makes a lot of favorable aspects?IP: Logged |

Even a sextile , trine, quintile or septile is sufficient. Conjunctions give more bang for the buck though. MUSA aspects to 3rd House Lord bless writing/composition/musical notation skills. FORTUNA gives clues to the amount of money making chances that will come naturally. The thing is, even if there is no Natal Fortuna aspect, a good transit can activate the luck and get a surprise opportunity.

Ok...so I don't have the necessary "astro equipment" but I just checked asteroid talent and it is conjunct my mercury. That doesn't count? :( mercury is in 4th, taurus. I also have that mercury conj venus, but both are blocked by squares to saturn. Any hopes?------------------

Does it help to have any of these asteroids in 3rd house instead? What if the aspect between 3rd house lord and the asteroids happened to be an opposition or square? IP: Logged | |
