It finally happened. After years of talking about it, I moved.

I tried to time things right, but of course packing and loading the car didn't go as smoothly as hoped. I left several hours after I intended to, and for the first two days did not make my intended destinations. Which is fine, as I got to meet up with one more friend than expected (who had also left southcentral Pennsylvania), and all three friends involved had stories to tell.

First, the departure chart:

Departure midheaven on my natal Black Moon Lilith, and departure Kaali and Moon both conjunct. It was quite a trip. Departure Destinn conjunct my Jupiter as well. Also, Saturn (Rx), Jupiter and Moon/Kaali were in a water Grand Trine (that I did not plan).

Along the way, I got to see three friends from this area as I mentioned, drove the lonely back farm routes of Texas (trust me, you can go a long while without seeing anyone else on the road), got my first helping of Pho thanks to my friend in Texas (good stuff!)... Also saw Meteor Crater in Arizona and experienced heat exhaustion after crossing the Mohave Desert which forced a motel stay for that night, which came after spending three hours at the crater. Oops. Just having ample water wasn't enough, and I knew something wasn't right when I felt like I needed a nap after crossing into California and being thirsty despite drinking a bunch of water. I'm still sunburnt on my arm and neck from that.

To be honest, New Mexico and Arizona, the stretches I went through felt like holy land. Felt a presence like a tribal elder, satisfied that I had finally come and passed on through.

Things continued to get interesting as I made my way and detoured to go across the Golden Gate Bridge (marked that off my bucket list... twice! Made it through Oakland without incident, and there was ramp construction around San Fran, which meshes with dreams I had a while back on this thread: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum15/HTML/002841.html )

Did spend a bit of time in the Presidio area getting quite a few pics of the bridge, distant shot of Alcatraz, San Francisco proper (didn't go through it though)... wound up continuing on my way during afternoon rush hour. Came within a foot of rear-ending someone on one of the major arteries. Helps if they would have more than one brakelight and didn't stop on a dime. But still no road rage after leaving Pennsylvania. That wouldn't come again until Oregon. Oregon drivers...

Felt like I was back in Pennsylvania on Die-81, I'll put it that way. With the added benefit of a reduced speed zone every 5 miles and a lot of mountains in the southern part. Pretty, but yeah. Also got through the state on one tank of gas. Didn't feel like having someone else pump my gas (Oregon and New Jersey you cannot pump your own gas by state law).

(continued from OP)

Finally made it over to my destination in Washington... and here's where it gets interesting chartwise:

Angles virtually the same as departure, and Antivertex on natal Uranus in Scorpio. Also Sun on Aldeberan (with my natal Hekate). Also a Grand Cross with Uranus, Moon, Pluto and Vesta (definite T-Square if we skip Vesta and Pluto and look at Ceres and arrival Ascendant).

Gets really interesting when we check my relocation chart:

Relocated Vertex... directly on Algol. Also on my natal Karma. Relocated Ascendant with Spica Rising, squares Jupiter. My natal chart has Ascendant square Sun-on-Regulus/Saturn.

And in two days, my third and final Mars Return for this cycle comes:

Mars Return has Mars in 6th house of its chart (Placidus or Whole Sign system, doesn't matter). Well, job did change. Left my state job with PA (and this time, it was on much better terms than it would have been in December/January), and a half hour before my final shift ended... I all but finished the critical part of the project I was on, and that was with two projects sprung on me in my final two weeks (also finished). Yeah that got nuts. My new job, well, turns out working for my roommate is resembling working for the state a bit. Only formal paperwork so far is a non-disclosure-agreement (standard in this line of work, and signed before Mercury went Retrograde), yet driver's license, getting new car insurance, actually signing any other paperwork with my roommate's side business... all of that will happen not only with Mercury Retrograde but also Neptune just went Retrograde too I believe.

So I may have jumped from one fire into another. I should also add that after checking synastry, my roommate's Saturn (also on Regulus) conjuncts my Sun/Saturn and squares my Asc/Desc line. Also he has natal Mars conjunct Ascendant, and his relocated Ascendant conjuncts his Jupiter. (He has put on some weight since moving out here. He and I originally went to the same school and he was skinny as a rail then. He also works for a major company doing well with that and thus I consider this a sign of validity for Relocation Astrology).

Judging from charts, this will not be a smooth ride in any sense of the term.

As far as a formal job chart, I didn't notate the time of the NDA, and there's been no other formal paperwork as of yet. For all intents and purposes, we could consider my arrival chart to be this.

I will say, something feels... off. Ever since I arrived, my roommate says there's been a lot of glitches all around.

Didn't meet any soulmates that I recognized as such on the journey, but perhaps that comes later.

I need to sleep though... thoughts on all these placements and my journey?
