In what sign and house is your Sherlock and what aspects is it forming??Pluto rules my 12th house and is in libra in the 11th house. Pluto is a singleton by element and mode in my chart. I have Sherlock conjunct Pluto by one orb apporaching. Sherlock also biquintiles my moon which rules my 8th house and my chiron. I also have psyche, jupiter and uranus in the 12th and chiron in the 6th. ADD: I am into psychology and sociology and social psychology which can be illustrated very well by sherlock conjunct pluto by one orb approaching in my 11th bc Pluto in libra is one on one individual psychology or marriage counseling but when it falls in the 11th it gets very interested in psychology and the effect is has on the masses; e.g. social psychology. Right on my MOON. By minutes. 3H. Also conjunct URA 1°. I'm very, very Sherlockian. Funnily enough, my Twin's IRENEADLER is exactly conjunct it, along with his KARMA-SATURN. Boy, if THAT's not painting a picture. 24° Scorpio. IP: Logged |

Cute!. So perhaps you worked together as investigators in a past life?? You say you have been collaborates on this one so perhaps you have investigated together in this one as well... Do you feel these aspects explain part of what you are here to do together in this life? "Irene Adler is a fictional character in the Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. She was first featured in the short story "A Scandal in Bohemia", published in July 1891. She is one of the most notable female characters in the Sherlock Holmes series, despite appearing in only one story, and is frequently used as a romantic interest for Holmes in derivative works, though in the story it is made clear that Holmes is only impressed by her resourcefulness and intelligence." So its in your moon in the 3rd house; I imagine you absorb information easily. Do yo have photographic memory by any chance??? I always wanted one of those haha. I wonder what aspects or placements would give a photographic memory. IP: Logged |

Funny you ask that! Yes, I was born eidetic, and am still partially so. It's not true 'photographic' memory, per se. In some ways, I'm able to recall things with astonishing detail; it's more the information I'm able to encode very quickly, especially the minor things. As to IRENEADLER, I was really taken by that. An exact conjunction. While only one story, she remained known as 'she' and 'The Woman'. There was never anyone else but Irene mentioned of that way. Their relationship was wonderfully depicted in the newest revamped BBC series. IP: Logged |

There was another thread that had asked about detective asteroids, so I had looked up all these detective and investigator related asteroids and checked them in my natal. Sherlock was one of them. Here's the chart: I used Sherlock, Holmes, Agatha Christie related ones, and Marples (Miss Christie's top female detective) I remember being surprised when I saw it because there were some strong aspects. I had always attributed my deep love of investigation, research, and psychology to my Virgo Moon-Pluto in 3rd house. I do think they are a big factor, but, now, I think all those investigative asteroids making strong aspects in my chart play a very strong part. IP: Logged |

It's OOB in my Libra territory. H10. I have a knack for solving mysteries. When watching one in film, reading one in a book, I often solve it way faster than others. I think it's that balance, harmony in Libra that might be why. Seeing patterns is second nature to a Libra energy. IP: Logged |

I have Sherlock in Sagittarius 3rd. Conjunct Uranus on the Galactic Center. Also OOB, just like my Uranus, but not sure how much that matters with asteroids. Not sure I'm much of an investigator, but I do sometimes make big intuitive leaps, and usually I turn out to be right. That could be related I guess, especially with the Uranus-GC connection. IP: Logged |
