Topic: Does Lucifer Conjunct Juno in the 10th House - Mean you'll marry a famous ******* ?

I have this aspect in my 10th house. I don't know that I believe in all of these asteroids but I'm willing to keep an open mind if anyone feels that they have meaning. If Juno is your marriage asteroid and Lucifer is...well, Lucifer, I don't think I like that symbolism. Does that indicate that the person with this placement is going to marry some rich/powerful/somehow well-known (10th house) devilish jerk? IP: Logged |

Should be in the asteroid forum and you'd have better luck there. I can't answer your question exactly but as I have Lucifer on my sun, I've checked it out.

Lucifer is also the iconoclast - one who doesn't fall in with the crowd. That is a good thing.

Thank you! I've been reading about Lucifer lately and Abraham Lincoln's Lucifer was conjunct his sun, so it can't be that bad. The name Lucifer means "light-bringer" so maybe it could describe someone who shines light into the dark areas of society/human consciousness, and in challenging darkness you'll have to overcome your inner darkness before you can successfully oppose the darkness in society. I would definitely marry a man like that. Too bad most of them are sitting home playing video games...IP: Logged |

Ha, "iconoclast" certainly sounds right. My Juno and Lucifer are both in Aquarius in my 10th house. Very openly iconoclastic. quote:

I have Lucifer conjunct my ascendant exact, and from what ive read he was the angel of music, he was a walking talking instrument, before he fell and lucifer means the morning star, which refers to Venus. I think he was also the most beautiful angel that ever lived, and he refused to kneel before anyone but God because he loved him too much and thats what he was punished for, I think.

I found an old post on Lucifer by iQ:Lucifer is one of the greatest teachers. Lucifer can teach a warrior to be able to infuse all the evil in the Universe, and still seek out God. He teaches the warrior that it is ok to earn some bad karmas for ensuring that those with mountains of bad karma don't keep adding to it. He teaches disobedience of authority for growth. The bad misuse it, the good use it. Lucifer loves God too. No one from the Divine Presence can hate the Source of Existence. He has taken the greatest challenge of controlling the dark side. The Luciferian may doom himself but not Lucifer, God will save him. He is the black hole that can inspire billions of galaxies after transmutation. Lucifer teaches about the ultimate power in physical reality. It is to be able to harm anyone as much as you want with no fear of retaliation or punishment, and then to choose not do to so.

Very inciteful, Astrokeen. Thank you. You mentioned a particularly subtle but important point about being willing to earn some bad karma by stopping bad people from committing far worse acts. And you're right that people who stand up to bullies with violence are walking a fine line between good and evil themselves. It's not that you should never do it, but of course, it has to be done with great care and honest self-examination to make sure you don't become as bad as the people you're trying to stop. Mine is semi-sextile my Ascendant exact. I don't make a conscious effort to veer away from the crowd, but I end up doing anyway. I'm not really sure why. Oh, it also resides in my 12th house, so maybe this could be why it manifests as a more subconscious thing?It also quintiles Venus which I thought was interesting as the quintile is a creative aspect. I'm still trying to figure out what it could mean. There is also a biquintile to my Neptune and Neptune and Venus quintile each other. It squares Chiron though- I have some issues with being an outsider/loner, which is pathetic, but I wonder if this is what this aspect means...i'm not sure...there is also a conjunction between Lucifer and Lilith...I think it's pretty wide though- 7 degrees. But yeah, what a cool asteroid!

Interesting, FruityLlama. From what I'm reading about Lucifer, it seems to describe our ability to stand alone, speak out for what we believe and be a leader, but the danger in that is that we could become drunk on our own power and lead ourselves and others astray. I'm no expert on this, but I've done more reading since I posted this thread, and that's what I've read. Being a leader in the 12th house suggests to me that you may be a trendsetter and pundit when it comes to spirituality, psychology and spiritual-estoteric subjects like astrology. If anyone else has a different take on this I'd be interested to hear it.
