I have Pholu in H7 (Retro,Aqua)....it also trines my Sun exact and Uranus (3 orb), as well as a few more aspects.I can't find much on what it means when Pholu is in H7...I read something about "unmarried but not haremless"..??.."and soulmate from another planet"...again..?? I know Ami Anne seems to know more about this--would love yours and anyone else's thoughts on this.

quote: Originally posted by Wild Horses: My experience with Pholus has always been that whatever your Pholus touches that belongs to the other person is what feels the Pholus sudden eruption. Your Pholus will cause their planet, asteroid, or angle to erupt.-Someon's Pholus hit my Eros 0° - I felt my Eros explode. -Someone's Pholus hit my Soma 0° - I felt the eruption of bliss and ecstacy. -My Pholus hit my husband's Juno - we were engaged 2 weeks after we met. So, if someone comes along with the right planet and puts it into your 7th house on your Pholus, the attraction could be extremely sudden and the relationship could develop at breakneck speed. That goes triple for you because not only is the Pholus suddenness involved, but you've got the Aquarius sign placement involved, and the trine to Uranus.
You could end up running off to Vegas to get married the day after you meet the person.
Oh boy--how kind of exciting...perhaps I should stop trying to plan a dream wedding.. IP: Logged |

Trines are an energy that flows so you maye kind of explode and let it all loose in serious relationships but the trine should make it so you don't destroy them lol

Pholus may help to lead us from the conforming bounds and limitations of our past, to make the radical changes in our lives, to pierce the veils obscuring our more transcendent soul purpose, and to awaken to that purpose and live it. Conversely, Pholus may also help us to then ground and concretize that purpose in the world. Pholus would seem to help us refine our sense of responsibility to one living true to soul's oath. Upon this journey, guided by Pholus, we may also confront the fear and loneliness encountered when leaving the apparent safety of our past established karmic patterns and choosing to live true to soul's greater purpose in the world. Pholus may be our ideal new psychedelic (mind expanding) drug. http://www.lunarplanner.com This is how I experienced Pholus. I have Vertex, Pholus and NN in row. Had someone's SN and Psyche hit it. Life changing experience. It's like a turning point. IP: Logged |

Wow KarmicMoon, you write so beautifully, thanks for the explanation. So basically when other's points hit it, there will be something "all of a sudden" is what I am getting...what else could it mean in the 7th house--especially with what it would mean about a past life? Was I perhaps very married in the past--and now I am to learn to be on my own? (I DO have NN in 2nd House Libra)... IP: Logged |

I wish I could take credit for that Scorpie but it is from the link I copied on the bottom. Its a great website for the centaurs. Yes, i think if someones planets hit your Pholus something unexpected will happen that has to do with your souls evolution. I would look for planets transiting to that point too. With your SN in Aries you have already done the "me" thing. In this life, you need to grow towards your Libra NN and "we". Not surprising then to have Pholus in the 7th. Either a person or transit (or both) will create a turning point for you in relationships that changes your view of them and so helps you end past karmic patterns and evolve towards your soul purpose. I don't think this has to be bad. It probably depends on where you are soul wise. Chances are more than one person/transit will do this, helping you evolve over time. I told you about the person who's SN and Psyche hit it but also my husbands Sun and Juno conjunct it. Maybe a Juno conjunction is ideal for marriage? We did not rush into marriage though.IP: Logged |

I'm def going to start watch for transits to it--that's interesting about the "we" thing...I DEF thing I have the "I" independent thing down...and have been commitment phobic when it comes to relationships....wonder if this is karmic stuff going on...Here's to Juno.. IP: Logged |

That is probably a big part of this. You are very independant. Maybe someone enters your life and rocks your World and suddenly you want to settle down. You begin to understand relationships and compromise which is your soul purpose in this life based on your NN. If you are too independant it means you are stuck in your SN and past karmic patterns. Ideally, we strike a balance between our nodal placements.IP: Logged |

Wow, this is eye opening. So that is based on the fact that NN is in Libra--what would it mean that it is in House 2? (Also conjunct Pluto, PoF, and 10 orb from Moon)....My Pholu is inconjunct my NN/PLuto... IP: Logged |

The 2nd/8th house is the one I have have the hardest time with but I will try. When your NN is in the 2nd or Taurus house this has to do with material goods for a start. You may have periods of ups and downs with finances. In this life you need to learn to manage your own money. In previous lives, you may have been in a partnership with someone in power. They took care of all your needs but in this life you need to take care of your own needs including how to manage money. The 2nd house also has to do with self worth. You may have the tendency to find self worth through relationships with other people. Taurus NN people long to find their soul mate but in order to do so they are learning self worth comes from inside themselves and is not dependant on other people. No co-dependant relationships. You may find yourself attracted to a lot of drama, too, which should be avoided. Having Part of Fortune conjunct the NN will bring you special talents and circumstances. Just what Wild Horses said about it. You probably earned it through some good karma. Having Pluto conjunct the NN gives you strength and determination. You have the ability to follow through on your goals. If used negatively, you could get caught up in manipulating and controlling others. You have a lot of charisma. The key for you in this life is a true balance between independence and relationship. It doesn't have to be romantic relationships either, could be with parents, friends or employers. You're learning how to have relationships while still respecting your own boundries. You're finding the right amount of give and take. You said you are very independant. I'm not sure how old you are but we usually lean more toward our SN until around the age of thirty and then start moving toward our NN. IP: Logged |

quote: Originally posted by Wild Horses: My NN is in my 7th house conjunct my DC 2°, so it's similar to a Libra NN. It makes us have an instinct to go it alone, due to the Aries/ 1st house nature of our S.Node. Our soul grows through relationships and partnership, though, so we have to learn to relate to others. We can't always go it alone even though that is what comes most naturally. It's our default tendency. We have to learn to meet others halfway and strike a Libra balance. That stretches us. Having the POF conjunct NN should be a great blessing, though. You should receive lots of support from others in your life. Usually, whenever you need something in life, whether it is emotional, material, financial, spiritual, or physical, you should find someone will be there for you.
How very interesting...I have great relationships with co-workers--but authority figures--forgettaboutit! I really get into a power struggle...perhaps this is what I really need to learn. My PoF is also conjunct the Moon (hence the Moon is conjunct at a wide orb of 10 with Pluto and NN)...how does the moon play into all of this? IP: Logged |

Funny enough, I have been a saver since I was kid--it's like I was hoarding money and coming up ways to make money all the time when I was little...I think I got the money management thing down (I think at least.. )...and oddly, it makes me very happy. IP: Logged |
