My Gross is in the 4th house, does this mean I find things related to my heritage gross? I know that i'm not really into family gatherings and I find emotions and stuff very "meh" sort of thing. I am also abit uneasy around my relatives. What is this asteroid about? IP: Logged |

This is fun! My Gross is sextile his Valentine and conjunct his Lust/Psyche. Now, that's a thought  !

Good asteroid to research more...My gross conjuncts by less then one orb my Nessus in Leo at the very end of my 8th house and this squares my juno by 4 orbs. IP: Logged |

My husband's gross is in the 8th and inconjuncts his nessus in the 3rd by less than one orb. When he thinks of death which terrifies him his body has an automatic reaction of shuddering.ADD:
He has a lot of knowledge about ways people can die and is super safety conscious. There is like an encyclopedia in his brain about ways to die. He also has neptune in the 8th inconjuncting chiron in the 12th and his gross conjuncts neptune by 4 orbs. ADD: His gross squares jupiter in the 5th exact and when I met him he did not want to have kids; Once a group of kids surrounded us and he had like a mini panic attack or the start off. IP: Logged |

My mom's gross is in scorpio and conjuncts her juno by one orb in the 6th house.She is a workaholic and I feel she avoids sex and I feel did not have much of a sex life and instead was completely work focused. I always saw her as a prude and kind of puritan like. Her venus in the 9th opposes her pluto in the 3rd. IP: Logged |

Well everyone should be happy to know, I did not accomplish "Gross" in my past life!
It's exactly square my NN....so it's something I am trying to accomplish in this life, but it's hard to do with a virgo moon!
Maybe it's about gross, as in income....I am going for that hardcore in this life, it is aspecting my Industria, Destin, Fortuna and Vertex?

The money slant makes more sense in my chart. I have Gross in the 2nd house conjunct Atira (Goddess of Earth and plenty). It trines Tyche and is quincunx Fortuna.But it is still confusing in synastry where it has pretty strong placements - His Gross is conjunct my Vertex and NN

Could it indicate you could be Destin to make money through him and how he effects your life path?

LOL Interesting. so my mom's juno conjunct gross in the 6th could explain her workaholism; my dad also has juno conjunct gross and he married a workaholic. And as for my husband's gross in the 8th inconjunct nessus in the 3rd maybe he can find a way to make money on his knowledge about ways to die by teaching people about safety; he is always teaching me about safety. His gross square jupiter in the 5th could explain the challenges he faces at first making money with his business ventures. ------------------

Scorpio Gross in the 3rd house sextile 4H Uranus and ASC and square 11H Jupiter exact. Something involving technology and the internet? It's funny that you mentioned this asteroid now, I had my Gross return 2 degrees ago.------------------

My Nessus conjunct gross at the end of the 8th which trines my jupiter/uranus in the 12th (Jupiter is my chart ruler and conjuncts exact Uranus) I suppose could indicate making a living as a therapist or case manager working with people who have a history of abuse heal or linking them to resources. The fact that Nessus is in Leo could mean that ultimately I will work with children; which is the next population I want to work with and maybe I will stick with this population.The only stressful aspect I have involving nessus is nessus sesquisquare neptune in the first. I have another interesting case. Someone I know says she has been raped and she has Nessus/Mars/Dejanira all squaring her pluto/gross conjunction. The fact gross is involved fits bc she has also worked in the sex industry via cam and porn. IP: Logged |

Cool. My atira conjuncts my sun by 4 orbs, separating. My dad was the main breadwinner at the beginning of marriage. Choose "Astrodeinst with Arabic Points" Run the chart....
You'll see Part of Fortune, Spirit, Necessity, Eros, Courage, Nemesis, Victory in the chart..... Click on "Additional tables(PDF)"
Scroll all the way to the bottom, there is a 2 column list of all your Arabic points....

What an interesting asteroid name! 
I did a bit of research and it was named after its discoverer John Gross, an amateur astronomer. We can safely assume the last name is German and Gross means LARGE or GREAT in German. It can also mean TALL and it was a last name given to tall people in the past. Just a thought!IP: Logged |

I ran a quick check in the charts of the two tallest men I know, and one has it conjunct his chart ruler(Saturn), and the other one has it conjunct his North Node.
It's conjunct my ASC though, and I am barely 5'6 so... I ruin my own theory. IP: Logged |

Similar to English's "engross" maybe.The English slang word Gross seems to stem from German because too big can be too much: "Meaning "disgusting" is first recorded 1958 in U.S. student slang, from earlier use as an intensifier of unpleasant things (gross stupidity, etc.). Earlier "coarse in behavior or manners" (1530s) and, of things, "inferior, common" (late 15c.)."
Mine is on my RxNeptune in a position that already creates receptive sensitivity. I imagine this has something to do with being more sensitive than others.
