Hi!
I've read a lot about Eris in general so far, but haven't seen a lot about specific positions.
Does anyone know a bit more about the effects of Eris on the angles in a natal chart? I have mine very closely on my Descendant and I'm not sure what it means, though I feel it must be important. I'd love to hear from someone who has, or knows someone that does, Eris on an angle. IP: Logged |

Eris on the DSC may make for a person who finds partners who are Eris dominant. To me, Eris is a very, very annoying energy. It likes to "one up". It likes to stir up trouble for the sake of it and then play dumb about it lolOn the DSC, you may find partners with this ------------------

There's nothing vague about it.
Do your own research.
Secretariat the race was considered a super horse. he had it conjunct sun.
If you have it rising you think your body is super human.
in the 4th your parents are super.
in the 10th, your boss is
it's bigger than pluto but since it takes a long time to go around the sun the meaning is kinda general.
I've explained about my friends. you want blood.
It's all about the 1st chakra and the 1st layer of your aura. as usual the myth doesn't work.

Thanks! I find myself really fascinated with Eris but all the info I find just sort of doesn't make enough sense to me and no matter how much I read I can't really figure it out. That might be an effect of it being on my DC, some sort of refusal to internalize it maybe? They do say that you're blind about your DC point and you always project it onto others. quote:

Thanks for the list of Sun conjunct people, interesting. I find myself completely unsurprised about Beethoven, but quite surprised about Shakespeare. Though I suppose if you really think about it... It can be obvious. Macbeth is teeming with Eris prototypes.I don't know any of the athletes but Kasparov.  He for sure had some kind of larger-than-life aura about him. So, so interesting about Star Trek actors. That's making me understand it a bit better. I've been a trekkie since very early childhood.  If you have the info, can you post some Eris conjunct MC people? Or give a link?

7 chakras and 7 layers therefore 49 "doors".

I heard of B.A.Brennan's book before but never got around to reading it. Thanks for the suggestion.  The solar opposition list is helpful, I can understand the energy a bit more clearly now. Ann Bancroft and H. Blavatsky I can see it in for sure. Out of curiosity and following the trail you suggested, I checked out the chart of the person who originated the modern superman myth, Nietzsche, and, if the birth time is correct(looks like a typical Sco ASC so I'd say it probably is), he had Eris(r) in H3, inconjunct his Mars/MC - a career in writing about the struggle of becoming the overman/superman. I suppose that works.

My Eris detector is right about 95% of the time. I have it conjunct the DSC, too. This is classic Eris for me. Video coming up ------------------

Oh, Urkel. I loved Family Matters. Well until that Stefan nonsense started... (and wouldn't that Steve/Stefan change be a fun astrological analysis! ) Interesting how it's on your DC, maybe that's what calibrates your detector.

Oh yea, that Stefan thing jumped the shark I can pick up certain placements. Eris is one. Mars in Scorpio in men is another. I am almost foolproof with this one lol ------------------
