We need to research Nessus more. My ex has nessus square venus and pluto very tightly and he is far from violent and abusive towards women. He has soft aspects between venus/mars and sun/moon and his venus and moon are not afflicted so perhaps that is why. I feel that nessus energy in his case translated VERY nicely in bed IMO. The only stressful aspect involving his moon or venus was moon square neptune!

ADD: Oh and his nesssus forms trines to his Sun and Uranus plus his nessus quintiles Saturn.

I feel stressful nessus aspects in combo with afflicted moon and venus is perhaps the danger and in the case of women stressful nessus aspects with afflicted sun and mars.

The definition of a nympth is: a mythological spirit of nature imagined as a beautiful maiden inhabiting rivers, woods, or other locations. Perhaps this is how people view you as someone beautiful and very in touch with nature.

I have nympth conjunct amor square my Chart ruler Jupiter/uranus and I loooooooooove the woods and mountains and always dream of living near nature and moved to another state bc of this strong desire and pull to live in the woods/mountains. To me nature is my friend and I feel at home when I live in nature. Even though I did not have family in colorado I felt nature kept my good company. Ofcourse nature cannot replace my family but I am trying to explain why I was happy there in spite of been far from them.

One of my favorite things to do in the world are road trips so I can see the nature surrounding me and stop by different spots rich in nature.

My NN in Gemini supposedly wants me to live in the city or I will feel a void; I find for me is more the contrary. When I was in Colorado I was about 40 minutes away from the city and worked in the city but lived in the mountains. In this way I feel I had found a balance between my SN and NN. I will be honest I dont like the idea of been to far away from a city. I like to have easy access to the city and visit the city weekly a few times a week at least.

Nessus is very primal, like a wild beast who has difficulty controlling his primal instincts and desires and these desires are expressed often in a abusive way as a result bc nessus is like a wounded Eros; at its extreme it can lead to murder or rape (if there are enough additional indicators in the chart).

Perhaps you are a hardcore environmentalist who really hates abuse towards nature and you fight for its protection or advocate for its protection.

Or

Maybe you are an attractive choice for abusive types. Maybe you attract Nessus types of men or men who are into BDSM.

BDSM is bondage, sadomasochism to name a few. Is the world of sexual taboo. I think it can range from something as vanilla as enjoying a spank during sex and having your back lightly scratched to very painful alternatives and this happens between two consenting adults and there is usually a safe word involved.

Yes I was going to add that nymph conjunct nessus by itself probably is not going to lead to attracting those types but if there are other contributors as well then it could. I feel like you probably want 3 contributors at least.

War Machine is very abusive and has several contributors in his chart involving nessus and afflicted venus and moon:

Progress Dejanira Cap 21 35
Progress Mercury Cap 25 01

Natal Moon Cap 24 23
Natal Venus Cap 23 54
Natal Karma Cap 19 08

Natal Nessus Can 29 21
Progr Nessus Can 28 10
Progr Northn Can 22 29

(Transit Pluto is approaching all this.)

This in combo with an afflicted moon/venus which squares his saturn, jupiter and pluto.

Plus Jupiter/pluto squaring nessus and nessus opposing his moon.

Its like a domino effect in his chart. One thing leads to the other: Moon/venus squares saturn/jupiter/pluto followed by jupiter/pluto squaring nessus tightly and having nesssus opposing his moon.

When you include progressed Nessus and Progress Dejanira it gets more interesting bc Progress Nessus is approaching his female natal planets and Dejanira.

I do really love nature but I can't figure out what this aspect is about. Oh, I am actually a pretty die-hard environmentalist and that's my only political affiliation. Maybe that's it. Nymphe=love of nature + Cancer=preservation of the past + MC=involvement in the world, I guess that would yield someone interested in politically participating in issues of environmental preservation.

I put these two things together bc I feel you might have answered your own question.

I think the opposition to your psyche from nessus explains why these nessus wounds layed dormant and came up to the surface later in your life.

Its like your psyche dealt with the opposition by repressing the nessus wounds/memories and not really dealing with it. Oppositions are challenges so it makes sense. Later in life when you are older you felt ready to confront these wounds to your psyche inflicted by nessus and you decided to stop repressing and avoiding and start addressing these wounds.

I would think the midpoint bet nessus and psyche may be key to finding a way to heal and deal with this opposition.

I dunno. You and I have the same general placement. Your orb of 1°58' is wider than mine at 1°44', but I'm not into the same scene you are. We both have NYMPHE closer to CERES than NESSUS, too.

Check out Astrodienst's web site at www.astro.com.

1. in the left nav bar, you will see "Free Horoscopes." Click that link/button.

2. then select "Horoscope Drawings & Calculations"

3. click "Extended Chart Selection"
