I'm sure they must be the ones conjunct the AC. This is the most personal point of the horoscope. What do you think?IP: Logged |

IC is the most personal. But perhaps ASC is most 'defining'. IP: Logged |

The Moon is super important cuz it is the heart.
This would be the most important place for asteroids to conjunct, to me, PS

Good question this!It made me look for my most defining asteroid. Well, nothing on the IC but Balakrishnan is precisely on my Asc. Balakrishnan is the child Krishna - the Vedic God, the key figure in the Hare Krishna movement. Yes, that is nice - a mixture of innocence, charm and other good things perhaps. Fortuna conjuncts my Moon exact, which isn't defining, especially as I can't see any great riches and success. However, I think the answer lies in Thersites, which is a few seconds away from my Sun. Thersites was a Greek commoner who challenged authority and spoke his mind. He had the temerity to say what everyone was thinking but were too fearful to voice (Thersites was killed for his efforts). I think, this defines more closely the quality I hold most valuable and also sets me apart from others. IP: Logged |

I don't know that this can be so easily defined. We'd look at asteroids on the AC first, I suppose, but Moon and Sun placements are important as well, and then you have to also look at NN, as well as aspects, so it's far too complex.I have Medusa on my AC, Metis on IC, Hestia on Moon, Cybele on Sun, Anahita and Kleopatra on chart ruler Venus, Peitho, Vanadis, Amneris, Apophis and Klytaemnestra on NN. I really can't single out one influence and say that's the one I feel the most. IP: Logged |

Cool! Thank you very much for the information. I know exactly nothing about Asteroids. IP: Logged |

Ah, yes, as the IC is calculated based on the AC (time of birth). IP: Logged |

Interesting...I always think of the Sun as the Heart. We are clinically alive as long as our heart is still beating no matter what our mind or thoughts or emotions or feelings are doing. To me, the Sun represents the heart as it is the lifeforce. But the Moon is what expresses what's in the heart. IP: Logged |

I think both the IC and the moon. The IC is very personal and private and involve things that only those you let in get to see about you, the moon is very automatic and instinctual and also personal and private. The AC deals with what people readily see about you.

My I.C., Moon, and N.N. are all within 2 degrees of each other in Pisces, opposite my Sun, which is conjunct Angel and the SGC.I've looked at lots of asteroids over the last year+, and none of them are anywhere near the I.C./Moon/N.N., probably for good reason The closest would be Hekate, 6 degrees away. (Interestingly, in synastry, the same is true, with his Iris at 4 degrees, my name asteroid at 6 degrees in one direction, and his Wisdom conjunct my Hekate 6 degrees in the other direction). Hekate also aspects many planets and major asteroids, so may be said to be strong in my chart. I also have Chariklo exactly conjunct my ASC in Sag, 5 degrees from a Ceres-Kaali-Chiron-Yes-Spirit stellium of which I'm rather fond. Somehow, this all makes sense to me, and no, it's not always as dark as it may seem at first glance! IP: Logged |

Oh man, I'm laughing so hard... I've always been told that I resemble Cleopatra. My face and my presence (whatever that means). So I decided to check whether it hits my ASC and I had a very strong feeling it was right on my ASC. Surprise surprise. It is conjunct my ASC at a less than 1 degree orb. How cool is that!My mom is also half Egyptian (my grandma is) and I've visited Egypt numerous times and am very linked to the culture.

I have Pallas Athena and Proserpina conj MC, both within 3 degree orb. I would say they have both had a HUGE influence on my life, after studying their meanings. It has been a big factor in how I have shaped my ambitions, my goals, etc. Athena/Minerva is also the goddess of craft - I quite literally DO Shamanic Journeywork (Prosperina Underworld), and when I return from journey I create a wire worked geometric talisman for a client (craft) based on the information I recieve in journey. If that isn't some asteroid workings I dont know what is!! I also have Kaali conj Moon exact, just discovered that the other day. I'm a Kundalini teacher so this would definitely speak for the Moon conj being significant and very personal. On a soul level, I have the Galactic Center conj my IC within 1 degree. Now THAT was a profound discovery for me. Definitely speaks for the reason why I feel like my "family" and "ancestry" is beyond ancient. Honestly I just feel like I dont even belong in this reality but that is another story. My immediate family in this life does not FEEL like family to me, at all. Again, I know the GC is not an asteroid, but it is a significant part of my chart in conj to the IC. In all honesty, Kaali, PA, Pros.... they seem to resonate more deeply with me than many of my planets (I have no planets on angles anywhere in my chart). Also I have a Regulus conjunction in my 12th with Mercury and Mars (Mercury exact) - man do I love that star. IP: Logged |
