Topic: Rhiphonos newest named Centaur any clues to meaning?

#346889 RhiphonosOne of the most recently named Centaur objects, I think it was discovered in 2009 and named for the first time last year. Correct me if I'm wrong. Does anyone have a clue to it's meaning? As far as the name goes, it means "casting" or
"throwing" but I could not find too much information about the mythology. Mostly general Centaur info, pulling the Chariot, friendly forest dweller, etc. the name is also spelled Rhiponus. Please check your charts and see if there is any meaning that fits. Thanks. IP: Logged |

I was hoping for personal experience relating to this asteroid, but I did check out the transneptunian site and found some helpful info that to give me a better understanding of Rhiphonos exact conjunct Neptune in my chart and trine AC.I seem to question everything that is established when it comes to spirituality and our existence. I even question our new age and spiritualist "doctrines" of how we are "supposed to" rethink our own existence. I throw out all imposed methods, new and old, of thinking and challenge my own imagination to come up with a more meaningful logic ('Logos' is conjunct my ascendant).
(58534) Logos, the rational discourse, the mystery of life. the Greek word for 'word' or 'reason' when discovered was conjunct 'zoe', the Greek word for 'life'. The sophists used the term 'logos' to mean discourse, and Aristotle applied the term to rational discourse.
