Mine is in the 12th house, in a wide orb of 4 of my Pluto, but I sense this.... When I'm on my way spiritually, alone or helping people in spitirual questions, all those liars and their lies go down... and unfortunately this last weekend I found out something nasty about my mother....

If I'm not wrong 2589 Daniel was named by the discoverer (Claes-Ingvar Lagerkvist) to honor his Son.
According to some webs and to Wikipedia - Den fria encyklopedin - http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/2589_Daniel

But yeah, many consider it as a Biblical asteroid. This is what I have:

Daniel comes from 2 Hebrew words.
Dan - which means: the judge, he who imparts justice or something derivative as - 'He who is wise in words'.

El - which would mean 'God' or 'The Powerful', I always go for the second option. Because the Old Testament has many 'things' that are not clear ( to say it in the more polite way possible ).
So, literally Daniel would mean: 'The powerful is the judge', 'god is my Judge', or simply: 'El is my judge' or 'El's judge' (a judge at the service of El)

Of course, this may lead us to think more about past incarnations, instead of a more simple and cotidian meaning.
As for the 'Liars', I think we should look for a more sensitive point in the chart.

In any of these cases, I don't see it as a 'catharsis asteroid'. So, as I said, maybe we should take our sight to a more emotional point.

I'm saying all this because I have 2589 Daniel conj my ASC, but I can't remember if it was same degree/ same minute or don't.

Liar came to my mind because in the biblical history, the people lied the real motives for not praying in that month.... They wanted to put down with him, and then invented something just to put him in the mouths of the lions...

Ami, what do you think?? I see this asteroid working like this... My mom has it in the 8th house... She needs to let go old sexual tabus to be saved... I see and sense this!!!

I have always liked the name Daniel and it conjuncts my Chart Ruler exact in the 12th:

Daniel in Sag @5d07
Jupiter in Sag @5d15
Uranus in Sag @5d45

My chart ruler is Jupiter .
