What do you think?

What about Juno retrograde?

I have it. So does my ex. Although we were together for almost 8 years, we never married. In fact, neither of us has ever married, period. My nephew also has it, and he hasn't married yet either, although he's not yet 30.

I would describe all 3 of us as intellectual introverts with a wide range of interests, for whatever that may be worth.

Paul McCartney and JoAnne Woodward also apparently have it though.

I was answering the question in your title, so Vesta.

As for Juno, my nephew and Paul McCartney have both Vesta and Juno Retrograde.

My current partner, who has been married 3 times, has just Juno R.

So, having JUNO retrograde does not prevent marriages or long term partners. What could it indicate then?

Well, since it's my partner and not me with Junk in retrograde, I think I'd prefer the term unique or perhaps unconventional.

^^ lol I'm not sure if that was supposed to be "junk" in retrograde but it made me laugh.

My husband has Juno retrograde and we've been together for 10 years married for 6. He's never wanted a divorce, now me on the other hand... my dramatic self is always the first to say "well let's just get a divorce!" and he is the one who is like "ha good luck, 'till death remember?" lol -- It also conj his Retro Neptune.

Now am I weird. I am about as weird as it gets at times. He has chosen the most out there person compared to who he has dated. I am very VERY Neptunian as well. We were married at 22, I look back and think just how freakin' nuts that was to get married so young!!

Ha! That's what I get for responding from my Kindle Fire. Probably an autocorrect.

So could this Vesta retro be the perpetual "vestal"? What do you think?

I have juno rx in 12th house. To be honest, I'm not keen on the idea of marriage. I just couldn't see myself as someone's wife, okay I could, but it feel wrong somehow. Funny thing is I would love to be a mom, but I imagine I would just going to adopt. Maybe someday I'll meet a guy who can change my mind, but for now I don't need a man to be happy

I got neptune/uranus trine venus which from what I read indicate reluctance to settle down, so that probably not juno, though.

I read that Vesta has to do with the eternal flame and it's something between Virgo and Scorpio, so that makes it Libra oriented. It's the second asteroid connected with marriage, so I guess being retrograde makes you not like it. I also noticed that in every house and sign shows where and how you need to be isolated to regain your mental peace.

Juno being retrograde makes people dislike marriage for sure. My best friend has an Rx Juno and she hates marriage, doesn't even want to have kids.

I like your description about Libra as being between Virgo and Scorpio when it comes to Vesta.

However, I think retrograde planets/asteroids are just more serious/picky, they involve responsibilty and lessons, they move on the vertical rather than the horizontal spiritual plane... astronomically, the retro movement is an optical illusion. Astrologically, it signifies a planet/asteroid staying longer in a spot, moving back and forth, being kept there for a while, forced not to move forward unless it processes certain things. The element of time is also involved: there are many lessons involved with retrogrades and the native cannot move forward before they distill the lesson. Retros add depth wherever they are in the chart.

I would associate them with the Hanged Man - tarot card.

Great explanation Leeloo.

I seem to have many of the asteroids in the top half of my chart retrograde, i.e., in houses 9, 10 and 11. The top half is referred to as the southern hemisphere and it represents career, ambition, desire for recognition. Perhaps, these are areas where I'm not doing so well. or have little regard for. I suspect it is the latter .

For example, I have these retrograde; Kaali, Rudra, Siva, Kassandra, Pythia, Anubis, Tyche.

All of my planets live in houses 1,2,3 and 4 - the northern hemisphere - areas of greater importance in my life in contrast of the above. So it seems to make sense, that the asteroids in the southern hemisphere are retrograde.

I wonder if this is true for everyone who has an emphasised hemisphere, i.e., the opposite hemisphere is, therefore, a little slower, needing more work.

It's weird they're not retro in my chart, isn't it?

Cappy, do you have one hemisphere emphasised in your chart? If that is the case, and the asteroids on the opposite side are not retrograde, then they may present fewer challenges. Perhaps you have a 'happier' chart.

I don't really know - just conjectures. Would be good to hear from more people on this.
