I saw this in a thread a while back and the idea intrigued me. Taking the position of the asteroid in it's discovery chart, and comparing it to the position of that asteroid in our own chart, to further provide understanding as to how this asteroid will effect the individual.This I pulled from a sphinx asteroid thread: quote:

Does anyone do this as practice for further asteroid study? I really like this approach for seeing how these play out, but before I start attempting to dive into these kinds of comparisons, I want to see how others use this practice if in fact they do.

I prefer to use the Discovery Chart to get insights about the Asteroid. ------------------

I've been toying with the idea that the sign at the time of discovery is its 'dignity'. Further, we can glean more from its 'dispositor', the SUN and MOON placement, and dominant energy (sign, house).IP: Logged |
