Hi, I am curious to hear about this conjunct because I hear I have it in Virgo (regulus is in virgo now isnt it?)Is this a good or bad placement? I am a bit concerned because it said this on a website: Venus conjunct Regulus: Many disappointments, unexpected happenings, violent attachments, trouble through love affairs. any interpretations? I have this aspect too in my natal chart, and it scared me when i read that article, but you can interpret it as you would any conjunction. Venus, which is the panet of love and beauty conjunct Regulus might mean you show Regulus qualities in those matters, you might express your love in a fierce way.. be dominating almost in a military kind of way without even you meaning to.. etcIP: Logged |

I think that Regulus in conj with Venus will just make you very Royal like. This can be good or bad, depending on your character. Think of kings in the history of the world, some were kind, just and generous, others were bloodthirsty, mean and harsh. So here is the grace as well as the danger of becoming a tyrant. It is important which house does this fall in your chart. Check the house and then make your interpretation. Regulus is in Leo, it only moved to Virgo recently so in your natal would be in Leo. If you have Venus on Regulus in say 11 house, this may make you popular with prominent people, your friends may see you as a gracious but perhaps little aloof, because of a certain presence ,elegance that you emanate. Of noble mind. You may be sensitive to brute behavior, and find it irritating if people dont follow a proper code of behavior. You may feel different than most people. Loyalty may be very important to you, and you may not take betrayal very well, from anyone especially not from friends. You will demand it, and if its not present you may remove your friendship. If angered or hurt, you may become a fearless adversary and will fight with all your might. Some other notes: It is one of the Archangels stars - Regulus is the star of Raphael, the Watcher of the North. Considered by ancients the "king maker star", if rising. According to Ptolemy it is of the nature of Mars and Jupiter, but most later authors liken it to Mars only, while Alvidas states that it is similar to the Sun in good aspect to Uranus. It gives violence, destructiveness, military honor of short duration, with ultimate failure, imprisonment, violent death, success, high and lofty ideals and strength of spirit, and makes its natives magnanimous, grandly liberal, generous, ambitious, fond of power, desirous of command, high-spirited and independent. [Robson*, p.195.] Personally, I always stay with Ptolemy so nature of Mars AND Jupiter applies. Hope this helps :-) IP: Logged | |
