Given the trials that Psyche withstood, and the generally happy ending, I can't comprehend why anyone would interpret a Moon/Psyche aspect as being a pushover.

To the contrary, one set of keywords (from Julie Dombroski I believe) includes as an interpretation of Psyche "bravery in outlook that leads to accomplishment of ‘the impossible.’"
