I thought I would share my experiences.

I got dumped by someone who I thought "was the one."

Our synastry was mostly great!
My Juno and Valentine conjunct his Scorpio ASC.

His DC conjunct my Mercury Taurus.

However, I noticed that we really had nothing going on with asteroid Child and Boda

Do you know anyone married with children who have great Child and Boda synastry?

Thought I would look at my parents

My mom has Juno in Libra, my dad is a Libra.
My dad has Juno in Gemini, my mom is a Gemini ASC.

My mom has Boda 5 degrees rx in Aries. It sextiles my dad's mars.
She has Child 29 degrees in Libra. (no aspects)

My dad has Boda 20 degrees in Scorpio. Wow it sextiles my mom's P. Fortune. My mom is the bread winner too. Conjuncts my mom's Ceres. Squares my mom's sun.
He has Child 17 degrees in Gemini.Sextiles her Uranus (weird, my sister and I were both planned)

So I guess that means squares do not mean "no way"
