So, besides chocolates, any idea what this asteroid could represent ? The King of Sparta would be a good guess and would thus associate the asteroid with bravery, courage, heroic acts, and so on. Perhaps its placement in our chart shows us what we are most likely to strive and fight for. Where does it fall in your chart ?

Definitely the king of Sparta who changed the course of history. To me he signifies the ultimate sacrifice, and exemplary heroism (dying so others can be free to live). There's also an asteroid named Gorgo after his wise and strong-willed wife. So these two asteroids could even be used as a kind of soulmate couple symbolizing equal partners fighting for a greater cause. I have them as a double whammy in my draco synastry, and the story has always meant much to me, long before the movie 300 was made. What I find especially touching is the way he set her free when leaving for his suicide mission. Gorgo is said to have asked him what she should do now. His response: "Find a good man who will treat you kindly; bear him children, lead a good life." He wanted her to be happy.

Leonidas valued and praised women during a time when good wives were to be silent and unseen. Perhaps this asteroid would show up where someone values women and the counterpart, Gorgo, would show where a woman is respected.

In a synastry this would be a welcome combination.

In a natal, especially for a man, when these two are in aspect, perhaps conjunct, there may be a deep regard for women, including the mother and wife, not based on looks but on the intelligence, support and advice given by significant women in his life.

Thanks for mentioning the wife!

Gorgo conjunct Moon and Leonidas conjunct Venus in my chart

In synastry with someone I almost have Leonidas conjunct Gorgo DW, wow. 3 and 6 deg.
