Does it fall on any Stars? What is the sabian symbol for this degree? Does the information about this degree resonate with you or feel like something you've been through or you were hurt in this way at some point in your souls life?

Mine is aries@24.14
This degree definitely brings up some deep and some traumatic feelings in me.

It's on the star-
Kurdah
Alkurah
Kings, rulers, judges; head injury, decapitation, severe wounds; cruel trials; talent for acting, writing, entertaining
24° Ari 13
24° Ari 21
Fortunate
Saturn/ Jupiter

Sabian symbol-
Aries 24:
"An open window and a net curtain blowing into a cornucopia"

Theme: Gratis

Inspiration: Gifting without conditions, is the same as receiving free of expectations.

Open a window of a warm Spring day. Breathe in the fresh breeze. It is free. Without condition nor expectation of service in return for its gift.

The cornucopia degree suggests, "If you have something good, give some away." Adding any additional hooks and conditions is really jus a waste of time energy and fresh air.

Abundance is feeling, knowing that there is more than enough. You can give it away like a warm and friendly greeting… gratis.

Shouldn't you be using the sabian for 25 since it is at 24 Aries 14? It has come to my understanding that Sabian uses the whole degree.. so,for example the sabian for 21 would be for the degree 20 Libra 1 all the way to 21 Libra 0

Even if that is the case, it doesn't mean the sabian beforehand doesn't hold significance.. In fact, the sabian before and after your exact sabian usually holds quite a bit of significance, because.. The sabian before generally shows something you have either mastered/gotten comfortable with, or something you have dealt with in the past (such as a past life) While the sabian after your actual sabian is kind of something you should strive to understand/work on/become..

Aries@24.30 or over would be rounded up to 25, 24.29 and under is rounded down to 24

Oh, this needs sorting! I've alway rounded up for sabian symbols. Don't remember where I read that. Will go look.

Edit: OK found this:

1. If the position of the planet is at an even degree (i.e., 26 Leo 00), read the Sabian symbol for that degree (i.e., 26 Leo).
2. If the position of the planet is at least one minute over an even degree (i.e., 26 Leo 01 or 26 Leo 02) read the Sabian symbol for the next higher degree (i.e., 27 Leo).

Here's advice from the site I use for reading Sabian symbols:

Any fraction of a degree is to be considered as a whole degree. Aries 15° 0' is to be read as Aries 15°; but Aries 15° 1', as well as Aries 15° 59', represents Aries 16°. The symbols are the expression of a span of activity, a cycle, the significance of which is released at once, the moment it begins.

Yeah.. Personally, I have always done it the way I mentioned.. Never heard of the rounding thing before. I was told that the reason each sabian goes from lets say.. 22.01 to 23.00 for 23.. Is why there are 1-30 for each sign, instead of 29.. If you started at 0, there would be 0-29.. But, since you count 0-1.0 as one, that is why it goes from 1-30. At least, if you are referring to the most original way the sabians were done.

BUT.. as I mentioned, that wouldn't mean that someone who has something 23 as the ACTUAL sabian wouldn't resonate with the 22.. Because, in a certain system, it is said that the sabian previous our actual sabian is something we have done well at/are comfortable with/resonate with through our soul memory.. I need to look back into all that again though, as I can't remember quite how that all works.. and can't recall EVERYTHING about the sabian before and after our actual sabian.. But, I have read they definitely hold significance.

Lol.. When I found out one of the focal points in my chart wasn't indeed at the sabian I thought it was (22 pisces) I was a little thrown off, because I grew to understand how that could work in my life and in my chart.. Then, once I found out the significance of the sabians before and after, it started making sense..

All the sabians before my ACTUAL sabians definitely resonate with me.. Haven't looked at the sabians right after my actual sabians though.

I'll look in to that again.. The sabians before and after.. So I can elaborate more on that.

No. Actually everything between 24°00 and 24°59 would be rounded up to 25 degrees. It is not like in math.

I do think though that the preceding symbol might illuminate - possibly- what was leading up to the actual position, and the following one might give an idea what it might develop into.

ReadingTheStars,

It might simply be 'justification', but I've heard the Karmic Degree is the one that immediately precedes the actual degree. Sometimes that seems legitimate to me, and at others, it's one or the other that resonates most.

But looking at the degree immediately prior to it as a 'Karmic Degree' might have some significance to it. I'm still investigating the point.

Ceri really got me into the Sabians. I was rather casual about it before she showed me their merit.

Interestingly, I find that the sabian after my Chiron is spot on for lessons that I need to learn.

My Chiron is at 1 Aqua -
Sabian - AN OLD ADOBE MISSION IN CALIFORNIA.
KEYNOTE: The power inherent in all great human works to endure far beyond the workers' life spans.

Have no idea how this would relate to me in particular BUT the next one does.

2 Aqua - AN UNEXPECTED THUNDERSTORM.
KEYNOTE: The need to develop the inner security which will enable us to meet unexpected crises.
