Accoding to my understanding The Name asteriod & Our name vibrates at the similar vibration Numerologically, that is why it is all more important for prediction. In your case there are many options avaliable and in each option your name is included but no asteriod has the same name as yours. Best thing according to me would be to ignore all. Astrology is a mathematical science which has to be very precise in its calculations. If in doubt its better not to confuse yourself by choosing any particular or all names. IP: Logged |

I see what you mean @Eternalone. But the asteroid Jessicarnold not only conjunct my Moon, but also has the same "Numerologic" number as my name. Jessica is a 3. So is asteroid Jessicarnold! I checked the others and they're not. IP: Logged |

@Ami, what do you think about choosing the Name asteroid that is not exact through the Numerologic number of the person's name? IP: Logged |

Great question, Jessica. Here's what I've done, and it's proved quite accurate in my research and experience. 1. All 'name' asteroids must be 'tested' in order to evaluate validity. We best test them by their position in the natal. I've most often found the ones which are 'validated' to be conjunct or near the SUN, MOON, or rising. Most incredible, a lot of actors will have their birth name conjunct or near a light, but their professional name rising, or prominently placed. Very cool! 2. Do this for a surname asteroid. 3. Once the two have been validated, consider taking the Midpoint, and exploring where it hits. You may be surprised! 4. If all has gone well so far, expect to have some strong hits with the Midpoint, too. In my own experience, I've explored both AUBIGNAN and AUDREY. Believe it or not, AUDREY is the one that hits -- even though I had a professional name for many years of Aubigne. So, you never know. Give 'em all a try, like Ami suggested, and see which one validates. That's how you go through the process. Hope that helps! IP: Logged |

Unless you have anything related to 'Arnold' specifically in your name profile, look at the orb of JESSIE, as it's conjunct your MOON. While I always keep asteroids very tight -- nothing beyond 3º -- when it comes to name asteroids, it CAN be near to a conjunction -- 5º, even -- and still be legitimately representative of your given name. Along with what everyone else has said, say the names out loud which one pronounces closest to your name and how many syllables do they have? If there's an extra or not enough don't use it, try another one. Most important is how it aspects in your chart. My birth name was conjunct my Pluto on my AC, numerology said that name energy was very destructive to/for me....so did astrology seeing that it was on my Pluto. I legally changed my name, didn't think to look at the asteroids to find a name, I used numerology and names id always been drawn to. After I changed my name I found out there was an asteroid of my name, I ran it and that astroid fell exact on my Aura/Gaea in my 10th house, squaring my Sun/Moon midpoint exact. Even weirder is later I found an asteroid that is so close to my last name, so I ran it. My new name is exactly conjunct it, while my old name squares it. It gets stranger...in my moms chart both my birth name and my new name are sitting on the same degree, right on top of my moon. To her both those names are the same person, her little girl. To her both names share the same energy, the emotional energy I've always been and will continue to be no matter what name I go by. It's just funny that her chart knew, it foretold what name I would chose to replace my birth name. In my opinion chose out of those names the name that sounds and feels right, the one that feels like it belongs to you. It needs to feel good when you say it, be the closest to your name and hopefully has the same amount of syllables as your name, look for the one that you feel resonates best with your energy.

Jessie conjunct my Moon at the orb of 0°42. Jessicarnold conjunct my Moon at the orb of 0°18.BTW "Arnold" has the same number of letters as my last name. And I'm just not feeling "Jessie" My gut tells me to stick with the other one. And @Gabby, your name story is so interesting! This made me want to check this one name that I like very much and wish I had. It's also the name of my favorite book character. It's conjunct my Venus, Aura and Bellona (one of my favorite Goddesses) Decided to also check Gaea, and she's exact conjunct (0°01) my Mars! So cool!! IP: Logged |

Awe, it's no wonder you love the name if it's conjunct your Venus. I have Daphne conjunct my Venus and I've always loved that name. I'm not sure why or how I chose my new name it just seemed to be my real name, that's how it felt at least. What's funny is the name i chose makes aspects, a lot and in a positive way, in the ppls charts that are the most important to me. In my TFs chart my new name is on his Mercury/Venus which both fall on my SN. I'm guessing that's the name he knew me as in a past life, he loves the name, says it's so much better than my birth name. Don't go with Jessie if it feels odd or unnatural, use the Jessicarnold. I'd never looked at Bellona before, her consort was Mars. In my chart Bellona is exact opposed my Mars. Cool IP: Logged |
