Astrology always makes me think so much deeper about myself, exploring all those deep mystical parts of me...

And I always end up reading something that inevitably rubs me up the wrong way! :P

So I've been reading up on Juno. I understand that Venus (pieces 7th/8th house), Mars (Gemini 10th house) and the moon (Scorpio 4th house) can influence the kind of person you want, but not necessarily the person you'll end up with, and for that you have to read Juno.

Juno, Capricorn, 5th house. Sounds like I'm gonna marry some miserable old practical bore, probably an accountant or something. My father will be delighted! I can only hope I get to have a hot affair with the pool boy...
One website said I'm going to meet them when I'm 28! (a bit specific if you ask me, but Im slightly depressed and slightly relieved that that's 4 years away)

Has anyone got some slightly better recourse's on where to read about Juno?

Hmm, I have Juno in Libra in my 9th house. Not sure what that means, though.

My Juno is in Pisces, and I read somewhere that this means I'll end up with somebody needing round-the-clock care, they even mentioned a possibility of this someone being physically disabled.

How can an article make such specific predictions based on a single placement, without accounting for the House, aspects, other planets, etc? It simply can't.

There are a lot of people here on LL who have a much more sophisticated understanding of asteroids, so I'm sure they'll provide a lot of insight on Juno but in the end it's your choice who you'll marry If a person bores you and doesn't intrigue you one bit, they hardly would be able to trick you into marriage.

Oh my gosh, well now Im a little glad its in Capricorn.
I thought it was really odd that someone could make such specific claims based off one position without acknowledging the rest of someone's chart.
Though I'd like to date someone who's about 27/28 so maybe they just made a type

I just completely read it as the sort of person my dad would pick for me. And that dog don't hunt.

It's really naive to associate "Capricorn" with "boring." How many Capricorns do you know and know well? Are they all boring?

Since Juno is in your 5th and in Capricorn, you'll probably marry an authority figure ...think "art teacher" since 5th is about creativity, and someone who wants kids, since the 5th is Leo's natural house.

On an even broader scale you'll marry a cardinal sign since Capricorn is one of the 4.

See? Not just a boring old man after all.

It wasn't meant to come across that way, it was the way what I'd read was worded that made it sound boring. One of my best friends was a cappy... she was... well interesting to say the least

Yeah I was going to say they can be some of the oddest, surprising people. They do come across plain but omg they aren't. I'm weird and they surpass me by far 😛

there are quite some laughable interpretations on Juno placements out there on the net, I agree.

Let's see. Libra JUNO, 1H, conjunct SATURN-ALMA.

To say my relationships have been almost exclusively with Soulmates clearing karma is an understatement. Presently, my husband and I are exploring polyamory. His PLUTO is conjunct my JUNO, for what that's worth, and, indeed, he's helped to transform my understanding and concept of relating. We have a deeply transformative marriage.

SATURN also is my 5R. I've had some very intense creative partnerships with overlapped as romantic relations.

I'm undecided on how much she determines our partners, but it can prove descriptive of conditions or traits.

My husband's is in Sagittarius; conjunct my VALENTINE in our 4H. I love that aspect. We have a very loving marriage, with a lot of warmth, good humour, philosophical discussion and expansive attitudes. Befitting of Sag.

My boyfriend's is in Leo on REGULUS. That is certainly indicative of his exceptionally high standards. Prior to me, he hadn't truly been involved with anyone. He was waiting for a deeply high minded, spiritual, romantic partner. We're also a creative team in the performing arts (film and television) and enjoy working together. He's a consummate gentleman, and he always brings the quintessential lady out of me, even if I'm already quite proper and serious. We're more theatrical and magnanimous together than separately.

Indeed, quite Leo.

It's conjunct my ISIS. A big part of our relationship has been helping me to truly embody the divine feminine. He makes me feel so deeply feminine; yes, even rather royal. It's also conjunct his MEGAIRA. Despite the complicated circumstances, he eventually chose to be with me as it was a moral quandary that required bending the rules to escape. (Megaera is the fury of the scorned woman; she'll hunt those who betray true love.) I suspect he did that in one of our other lifelines, too.

Also, it's in his 9H. Funny, how that gives it a Sag flavour.

So practical is boring? Saturn rules cappy, you have your first Saturn return at 28-29 si I guess that is where they got that.
I tend to think you will marry the right
person the first time , and maybe by the time you are 28-29 practical will to you be practical. The question is where is his Juno and Your Mars, His Venus and moon.
sextiles are nice because the have the word sex in them.
