Do you consider aspect other than conjunction to fix star ?
I see from the thread they seldom use opposition too. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum37/HTML/000014.html

Are there any trine , sextile, square ?

Thank you

I think the orb kind of depends slightly on which star it is..

The ones I know of, that are generally allowed the loosest orbs are: Algol (around 26 Taurus) Sirius, and Regulus.. The last two, I know is because of the magnitude of those stars.. Not sure on the magnitude on Algol..

I know some people don't use oppositions, but I have found that at the very least they SEEM quite significant in some cases.

I personally only use oppositions and conjunctions.. Well, and maybe parallels/contraparallels if the aspect is very exact, or if there is already also a conjunction/opposition with that star. Also.. Sometimes sun/moon midpoints may be significant, if really close to a star.. Especially if you have a significant asteroid on that fixed star..

(I know some will probably not agree with everything I've said.. But, these are my thoughts on the subject..)
